The news about Blade Runner 2 in 1905 has been in the spotlight, and after the script was completed and the cast was determined, when the film could start became a top priority. Recently, it has been reported that the film will start filming in the summer of this year, to be precise, in July. In the U.S. market, the film will be distributed by Warner, while the distribution in the international market will be handled by Sony.

As it stands, Blade Runner 2 has an excellent behind-the-scenes team. The film was directed by Dennis Villeneuve and the cinematographer was the famous Roger Deakins, who had previously collaborated on Prisoner and Border Killer. The screenplay was written by Michael Green, with Hampton Vancher and Ridley Scott providing the story material for the film. Starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford returns to his original role. So far, the story of the film is still a mystery, and people basically know nothing about the direction of the characters and the outline of the story. Filmed in 1982, Blade Runner has been occupying the "top spot" in various science fiction film lists for many years. Of course, the first place in Blade Runner also came to be worthy. The concept of the entire film is far beyond its time, and the scenes, sets, and Ridley Scott's shooting and editing are so sophisticated and unique that many scenes are "burned" into the minds of fans that cannot be erased. The film's artwork is excellent, and those low-light photography and future bizarre scenes have become classics. The film ostensibly talks about the relationship between humans and replicants, while philosophically, the director explores the ancient proposition of how a person should "know himself" and "find identity."

Earlier, Scott said in an interview that all the preparations for the film were ready and waiting to be filmed. Although Blade Runner 2 has been mentioned continuously since 2011, the film has not come to a substantial production path. After Scott stopped directing the film, Dennis Villeneuve, director of Scorched Earth, took over the directorship, a bold and forward-looking choice. Ridley Scott will serve as producer.
