Players who love Blade Runner have new toys. MOD author Syndroid recently released a Blade Runner MOD based on Hero Sam Fusion. The mod offers 1-2 hours of story playtime, and players can now download the mod directly.
The mod, titled Blade Runner: Cellular Interconnect 2021, is set before the events of the short film Blade Runner 2022 Dark Havoc. The protagonist of the game's plot is a runaway replicant, Trixie, who is in a world of forced obedience, fighting for freedom.
According to the authors, the mod features a story campaign, CG performances and clips, character voiceovers, plus a variety of different game/map design elements.
In future releases, mod authors also plan to add VR support and optimize character movements.
