At the western end of the ring of Nanjing Xuanwu Lake Park, there is a high platform, which is the highest part of Xuanwu Lake, which is also the crown tomb of Guo Pu, a writer, scientist and feng shui master of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Guo Pudun.

Guo Putun

Guo Pu (276–324), son of Guo Zhen (郭瑗) of Jianping Taishou Guo( 郭瑗). He was an encyclopedic scientist who studied at home and visited famous teachers, was knowledgeable, proficient in astronomical geography, almanac arithmetic, yin and yang, and feng shui, and was also a famous writer, historian, and exegetician, who was good at Fuwen, "the crown of Zhongxing", especially the "Youxian poem".

Guo Pu is the originator of Chinese feng shui, and his book "Burial Classic", also known as "Burial Book", discusses feng shui and its importance, and is the ancestor of Chinese feng shui culture.

After the Yongjia Rebellion, the Jin Dynasty moved south, and the imperial power weakened, "the king and the horse, the world together". In 324, the general Wang Dun rebelled and summoned Guo Pu to divinate, and Guo Pu dissuaded him on the grounds that Bu Zheng was not lucky, and was killed by Wang Dun. A few months later, the rebellion was quelled and Wang Dun was killed in a coffin.
