In the midst of his sorrow, suddenly an old man appeared in front of him, with a green face, a hunchback, no beard, a wide hat on the top, two cylindrical tentacles at the tip of the hat, and a very strange appearance.
Guo Pu was uncertain, only to see the old man with the green face take out a roll-like object from his arms, pay it to Guo Pu, whiskers, turn around and jump, turn into a giant green snail, the size of a bull's head, jump into the river, splash a few feet of waves, disappeared, at that time, Guo Pu vaguely heard the old man's words: "This book is the crystallization of my hundred years of cultivation, it is a pity to destroy it, Ru should be used to it, and he will not regret it." Now my Lord has come to look for it, and I should go too. Guo Pu looked up, only to see a huge green fish rising from the river, opening a huge mouth, clicking, biting the green snail, swallowing it into the stomach...
Subsequently, the river receded and Guo Pu hurried home. As soon as I entered the house, I was busy opening the volume, and it turned out to be a "book in the green sac".
However, to tell the truth, Guo Pu is indeed famous, and he has been rated by posterity as a famous writer, exegeticator, and feng shui scholar of the Two Jin Dynasties. So that the folk naturally circulated many of his strange stories and ranks, and finally passed them on from generation to generation, and then modified and deified, and later, even the "New Language of the World" compiled these strange folklore into books for posterity to read.

Guo Pu obtained the Qingluo Old Man's "Book of Qingsac Zhong", which consisted of nine volumes, containing magical arts such as the Five Elements, Astronomy, and Divination, and those who were familiar with it could understand the mysteries of eliminating disasters and reaching the underworld, that is, such a high-ranking person as Jingfang and GuanRui, who did not learn these skills in the book. But Guo Pu was in love with the maid of the house owner at that time, in order to take the maid with him, he grabbed a handful of red beans and sprinkled it around the courtyard, and in the evening, as soon as the owner of the house closed his eyes, he saw thousands of little people in red clothes surrounding his courtyard, and when he opened his eyes, the little people disappeared again, so he did not sleep well for one night. In the morning, the owner of the house asked Guo Pu to help him calculate a gua, and Guo Pu said that this was an evil god attracted by your maid, and she must be sold to Nanzhuang dozens of miles away. Remember, it's a little cheaper, and the sooner you get out of hand, the better. Guo Pu read a few words in his mouth, and then burned the paper with incense, only to see a small red person jump into the well in the courtyard and disappear.
In advance, Guo Pu entrusted others to wait in Nanzhuang in advance, and finally bought the maid at a very low price.

At that time, Guo Pu was Wang Dun's secretary to join the army, and Wang Dun also asked Guo Pu to calculate for him, and Guo Pu said that there was a big disaster. Wang Dun was very angry and said, then you can calculate how much life I still have. Guo Pu said that if you can't afford to be a soldier, your life expectancy will be very long. Wang Dun then suspected that Guo Pu was colluding with Wen Zhao and Yu Liang, so he wanted to kill him, so he said to Guo Pu: "You can calculate so well, so when will you die?" Guo Pu said, "It's three o'clock in the afternoon today."
Wang Dun was furious and ordered Guo Pu to be executed, and on the way to the execution site, Guo Pu said to his escorts, "I will die between two cypress trees." When I got there, there were two cypress trees side by side, and the gap between the cypress trees was just one person wide, and Guo Pu said: "There should be a magpie nest on the cypress tree on the left, the executioner looked up but didn't see it, Guo Pu said, there must be, so someone climbed up the tree, and sure enough, a magpie nest was found between the branches and leaves." Guo Pu finally said to the executioner, "I sent you clothes." The executioner took a closer look at Guo Pu and suddenly remembered that there was indeed something.

Legend has it that Guo Pu's mother died, and Guo Pu chose a cemetery in his hometown of Jiyang, which is only a hundred steps away from the water beach, and many people think that the cemetery is too close to the water, in case the water rises, the tomb will be submerged. Guo Pu said confidently, it doesn't matter, it won't be long before the water beach here will become land, and sure enough, within a few years, the water beach will be silted up, and finally the square mile will become a mulberry field.
Guo Pu also wrote a poem on this matter:
Northern Fu Lielie, giant sea mixed. Three graves, only mother and kun.
This legend must be true, because Hong Mai quoted this matter in his "Rong Zhai Essay", and one more, Guo Pu's prediction that the water beach will become land is completely scientifically based, which can only show that Guo Pu is good at observation, and combined with the law of natural development, he draws the conclusion that the water beach becomes land, which is completely different from feudal superstition.
