In the seventeenth year of Zhenguan, the "Push back map" was jointly compiled and published by Li Chunfeng and Yuan Tiangang at the behest of Emperor Taizong of Tang and Li Shimin. A book of prophecies that calculate the fortunes of the Tang Dynasty. Li Chunfeng used Zhou Yi Bagua to calculate, but he did not expect to be addicted to it as soon as he calculated it, and he was out of control, and even calculated the fate of China for more than 2,000 years after the Tang Dynasty.
Until Yuan Tiangang pushed his back and said: "The heavenly opportunity can no longer be leaked, or go back to rest", so this prophetic book got its name "Pushing Back Map".
It is reported that the "Push Back Map" is divided into a total of sixty images, each of which is equipped with a rhythm poem, which calculates many things that will happen after the Tang Dynasty in the form of simple verses. Such as Wuhou Lizhou, AnShi Rebellion, Huangchao Rebellion, Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, Song Taizu was subjected to Zen Li Song, Wang Anshi changed the law, etc.
And the character to be talked about today is even longer than Yuan Tiangang Li Chunfeng, who is guo pu who is revered as the originator of feng shui. Guo Pu (276–324), courtesy name Jingchun. A famous writer, hermenist, and feng shui scholar of the Two Jin Dynasties, he was the son of Guo Zhen (郭瑗), the taishou of Jianping. Legend has it that he was good at foretold prophets and many strange tricks. He is good at ancient Chinese and strange characters, fine astronomy, almanac, and bu zheng, and is good at Fuwen, especially the name of "YouXian Poem". Guo Pu was a Zhengyi Daoist who was good at Fuwen and had annotated ancient books such as the Zhou Yi, the Classic of Mountains and Seas, the Book of Burial, the Biography of Mu Tianzi, the Dialects, and the Chu Ci, and guo Pu's annotations can be found everywhere in the Cihai or Ciyuan today.
It is rumored that on the occasion of Emperor Hui and Emperor Huai, there was a riot in Hedong. At that time, Guo Pubu sighed after saying that the people would fall into foreign domination, and their hometown would also be ravaged by the Xiongnu. So he contacted dozens of relatives and friends and prepared to take refuge in the southeast. When they arrived at the general Zhao Gu, it was just when one of Zhao Gu's good horses died, and the generals all loved horses, and Zhao Gu was very sad and did not want to receive Guo Pu. After Guo Pu understood what was going on, he said to the guard, "I can bring the dead horse back to life", the guard was very surprised to hear this, and quickly told Zhao Gu, Zhao Gu was also very curious, so he immediately came out to see him. Zhao Gu asked him how he could bring the dead horse back to life, and Guo Pu said to him: Let twenty or thirty strong soldiers each hold a long pole, walk thirty miles to the east, and then beat it with a long pole at the land temple in the hills and woods, and then something will come out, quickly catch it and bring it back, and the horse can be revived. Zhao Gu was suspicious of the letter, but he also complied. Then he caught something like a monkey, and when he saw the dead horse, he breathed into the horse's nose, and after a while the horse stood up and hissed, eating the draft as if it were all right. But the monkey-like thing was gone. The sergeants were amazed.
In the last year of the Western Jin Dynasty, the great general Wang Dun was planning to rebel, and when he heard that Guo Pu was divining for life and death, he invited Guo Pu to divinate, and After Guo Pu divination, he told him that "there was no success", and Wang Dun asked how long he could live if something happened? Guo replied, "If ming gong starts an incident, it will be a disaster soon." If you live in Wuchang, your life expectancy is unpredictable. "Tell him not to rebel, so that he can live for a long time." Wang Dun was furious and asked, "Qingshou geometry?" ”
Guo Pu calculated his life and said, "Just today." Sure enough, Wang Dun, who was furious, killed him on the same day, ending his legendary life at the age of 49.
