"The lord went out first, Liang Changzhen guarded Chengdu, and there was enough food and enough soldiers."
"(Fazheng) The outer system is the capital, and the inner is the mastermind."

This is a description of the work of Fa Zheng and Zhuge Liang when they were working under Liu Bei in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
From this description, it is not difficult to see that when Fa Zheng was still alive, Zhuge Liang's main job was to be responsible for Annei and to ensure Liu Bei's military supplies in the conquest; and the person who followed Liu Bei and advised Liu Bei on the battlefield was Fa Zheng.
We can also find corroboration of this from other records in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms; We can follow the lines of what is written in it:
After the Battle of Chibi, Liu Bei's eyes were on Yizhou occupied by Liu Zhang, and in the process of Liu Bei's occupation of the Magpie's Nest, Fazheng, as an internal response, began to advise Liu Bei to get the old owner, and in the campaign to capture Yizhou, Zhuge Liang went to the front.
After Chengdu was taken down, Zhuge Liang began to sit in the office, no longer going to the front line, and it was Fazheng who followed Liu Bei to fight Hanzhong.
The fight against Hanzhong was a major battle after Liu Bei took Yizhou, when Zhuge Liang ran to Yang Hong for advice because the military supplies provided were too frightening, and at that time Liu Bei relied heavily on Fazheng, but when the war was scorching, he took advantage of Xiahou Yuan's negligence to let Huang Zhong tear open a hole under the Dingjun Mountain, and finally won the Battle of Hanzhong.
Later, Cao Cao commented on this battle, saying that Liu Bei did not have such ability, and that someone must have copied him a little, which also indirectly proved the role of the French in front of the army.
Unfortunately, Fa Zheng died at the age of forty-five. In the year of his death, Guan Yu was killed by Eastern Wu because of his "carelessness" (note that there are quotation marks, the reason can be seen "Guan Yu Lost Jingzhou without reinforcements, is Liu Bei afraid that he will not be able to lose his tail, or Zhuge Liang wants to borrow a knife to kill people").
At that time, Liu Bei had to attack Eastern Wu for various reasons in the name of revenge for Guan Yu, when Liu Bei was defeated, Zhuge Liang once said that if the Fa Zheng was good, even if he could not stop Liu Bei, at least he could make the Shu army invincible, which was a high evaluation.
Then Liu Beibai emperor died, zhuge liang began to become a brother in the Shu Han army, so in the army, which is very particular about strength, how did Zhuge Liang become the commander of the whole army from a person in charge of logistics?
I think there are mainly the following reasons:
First, Liu Bei was isolated in the White Emperor's city and asked the Hou Lord to regard him as his father.
Before Liu Bei's death at the White Emperor's city, he had tested Zhuge Liang's loyalty with words, and after determining Zhuge Liang's thoughts, Liu Bei decisively entrusted Shu Han to him and made Liu Chan regard him as his father.
What does this mean? This is Liu Bei entrusting all the power of Shu Han to Zhuge Liang, after all, the emperor must call you father, so if Shu Han dares not to give you face, it is disrespect for the emperor of Shu Han, which is the "name" of Zhuge Liang's army.
Second, Zhuge Liang himself is superior in strength.
Before Liu Bei died, he was able to entrust Shu Han to Zhuge Liang because he believed that Zhuge Liang had this ability, otherwise why didn't he entrust the power to Zhao Yun, who had the grace to save Liu Chan's life.
So what are the aspects of Zhuge Liang's strength?
First, Zhuge Liang is a minister of the dragon, Liu Bei's family business can have so much, largely because Zhuge Liang's planning was good, if there is no Zhuge Liang, then Liu Bei may have to be a lifelong security guard, in other words, Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei are partners, or the kind at the beginning of the business.
At the beginning, Liu Bei's side, capable and not yet belonging to the Jingzhou sect, and there was no stain on the body, the old man who had been following Liu Bei, you broke your fingers to see if you could pull out a few.
Second, Zhuge Liang's ability is obvious to all. In the practical stage, Zhuge Liang's biggest job was to ensure that Liu Bei was "enough to feed and eat enough soldiers." Everyone may feel that "enough food and foot soldiers" is nothing, but if you go to the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", Liu Bei has not been idle for a day, changed others, who can provide Liu Bei with such a tossing method, and it is extremely powerful for Xiang Xiang to be able to do these four words.
Third, Zhuge Liang has a big picture view that others do not have. Zhuge Liang was initially favored by Liu Bei, in addition to the profile introduction of others, it was his "Longzhong Pair" that had left his name for thousands of years.
In the case of extremely backward information transmission in ancient times, Zhuge Liang could not only see the major events in the world, but also analyze solutions, which was very rare. Moreover, judging from Zhuge Liang's later performance, he also had a comprehensive plan for the later development of Shu Han, and this plan should also have received Liu Bei's approval.
Therefore, before Liu Bei died, he would definitely consider the future direction of Shu Han, and who knew the future development of Shu Han the most, and who could take the helm? Zhuge Liang, only Zhuge Liang.
Third, Zhuge Liang knows how to make good use of people.
Note that it is learned here that people make good use of it not as an adjective, but as a verb, because Zhuge Liang not only has this ability, but people still do it.
In addition to Pang Tong, who was known as Zhuge Liang, and Zhuge Liang's heirs Jiang Huan and Fei Yi, Zhuge Liang actually recommended or promoted many talents to the Shu Han regime:
Jiang Wei: Liang Meiwei was bold and wise, and was created a cangcao tuan, a general of Jia Fengyi, and the Marquis of Yangting.
Hu Ji: Zhuge Liang's main bo, "along with Dong He and Xu Shu".
Dong Yun: Zhuge Liang arranged for him to command the Su Wei soldiers.
......
Because there are too many people, I will not list them one by one, as long as you look at the officials at all levels of the Shu Han Dynasty, and then look at whether they are related to Zhuge Liang, you can understand how much Zhuge Liang has contributed to the talents of the Shu Han, and these contributions are actually a kind of soft power.
Fourth, Zhuge Liang himself was proficient in the military.
Zhuge Liang himself once wrote a book called "Twenty-Four Articles on the Art of War", although the content of this book has not existed much, but from the perspective of the content involved, Zhuge Liang's theoretical level is still very high.
In addition to the theoretical level, Zhuge Liang once trained a unit called the "Wudang Flying Army", the main force of this unit is the southwest barbarians, Zhuge Liang can train foreign warriors into an army, should also be able to see his practical ability, in addition, he also handed over to Jiang Wei a "tiger infantry army" troops, in addition to Zhuge Liang also for Liu Bei "foot soldiers" ...
In addition, if we look closely at Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition, we will also find that Zhuge Liang is also very superior in command strategy, so it can be seen that Zhuge Liang's ability in military affairs is also outstanding, which is enough to be called proficient.
To sum up, although Zhuge Liang has been working in logistics for a long time, people must have seniority, trust, ability, and ability, and there are a large number of officials who are bound to him... Therefore, he was able to smoothly become a talker in the army after Liu Bei went.
