Chinese chess player Ding Liren stood out with 4 wins and 3 points, which was the third time that Ding Liren won the tournament after 2013 and 2014.

The 5 Chinese players participating in this competition are Ding Liren, Wei Yi, Bu Xiangzhi, Yu Yangyi and Ju Wenjun, the 3 foreign players are Russia's Vichogov, Hungary's Laporte, Bulgaria's Topalov, and the average rating of the 7 male grandmasters is as high as 2736 points.

In the first four rounds, Former Bulgarian world champion Topalov led the table with 3 wins and 1. In today's three rounds of competition, Ding Liren played the best, winning 2 wins and 1 draw, and finally successfully surpassed Topalov to win the championship.
