Founded in 2010, Danzhou National Elephant Super Battle has developed into a chess brand event with world influence after years of intensive cultivation. This year's competition adopts a combination of online and offline methods, and 3 foreign chess players participate in the competition with 5 Chinese chess players in Danzhou through online games. In the first four rounds, Bulgarian star Topalov led the table alone, and the top seed of the event, Ding Liren, won 2 wins and 2 draws. The fifth round became a key battle, and Ding Liren defeated Topalov to lay the foundation for winning the championship. In the last two rounds, Ding Liren was in good shape, played steadily, won 1 win and 1 draw, and finally won the championship with an advantage of 0.5 points.
