Liang Sicheng and Lin Hui walked out of Tsinghua University for the first time because of their precious manuscripts, exhibiting Liang Ting's photographs in Wuhan
Wuhan, September 28 (Liang Ting, Huang Ying) "China Construction, Liang Sicheng, Lin Huiyin" document exhibition was launched at the China Building Science and Technology Museum on the 28th, exhibiting more than 80 manuscripts, a number of building components, letters, literature and so on. This is the first time that the China Construction Society and Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin's precious documentary exhibits have gone out of Tsinghua University and exhibited in Wuhan.
This year marks the 120th anniversary of Liang Sicheng's birth, Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin are one of the founders of the study of the history of ancient Chinese architecture, jointly created the Chinese ancient architecture research system, and jointly founded two architecture departments of Northeastern University and Tsinghua University.

Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin have accumulated a large number of detailed text and picture materials through the investigation of more than 2,000 ancient architectural projects in nearly 200 counties and towns across the country, on the basis of which Liang Sicheng has completed the research and writing of the history of ancient chinese architecture.
Taking the representative cases of Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin as the starting point, through the combing of images, manuscripts, writings and other documents and the restoration model of ancient buildings, the exhibition presents the context, meaning and spirit of "China Construction" from their "original intention" of devoting themselves to Chinese architectural research, inheriting and protecting Chinese culture, and the "ingenuity" of searching through Ancient Chinese architecture and leaving a large number of precious historical materials for future generations, to present the context, meaning and spirit of "China Construction", and to show the home and country feelings and professionalism of "China's first generation of architects" Liang Sicheng and his wife Lin Huiyin. Carry forward the connotation of Chinese architecture and the spirit of Chinese creation.
The exhibition's original intention and dedication to Chinese construction are exhibited in large quantities of hand-drawn paper of ancient buildings drawn by Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin at the China Construction Society; the ingenuity of the exhibition is searched through ancient Chinese architecture, and the Dule Temple, Baodi Guangji Temple, Hongdong Guangsheng Temple, Wutaishan Foguang Temple, Jinci Temple, Yongshou Temple, Yuhua Palace, ancient city Zhengding, Datong, Yungang Grottoes, Longmen Grottoes, Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, and Zhaozhou Bridge, which Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin and his wife have inspected in depth, are respectively illustrated.

The exhibition also exhibits many models of ancient building restoration, and the master who made these ancient building restorations is Zhao Guangzhi, an expert in ancient building construction who studied under Liang Sicheng. The exhibition sets up a viewing area and an interactive cultural and creative area, where you can watch the documentaries related to Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin, and feel the profundity and wisdom of Chinese architectural culture.
The China Building Science and Technology Museum is a museum with the themes of "Chinese Architecture" and "Building Technology".
