My wife' name is Ma Yuwan, who has been practicing medicine for 12 years, and is now the head of the nursing working group of the Tuberculosis Department of Nanjing Public Health Center, often dealing with respiratory diseases, and this epidemic is her second critical order to enter the isolation ward.

However, contrary to her wishes, the wife officially received a notice from the hospital on July 24 and rushed to the isolation ward. When I first received the news, my brain door "buzzed", and after thinking for a while, my mentality changed from nervousness to calm, giving my wife more advice and encouragement on the phone. At the same time, compared with a year ago, our children are also quite sensible to draw a "cow and cow mascot" for their mother, and also hope that their mother will come home safely. Today, my wife has been in the isolation ward for nearly two weeks, and although she can't go home, she is fortunate to be able to keep in touch with her family every day. Compared with other medical workers, she has relatively richer experience in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, so she mostly runs in different wards, participating in and imparting the work and experience of other hospital colleagues who come to the aid of other hospitals (provincial human medicine, provincial integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, Chinese university hospital and Drum Tower hospital). In fact, over the years of couples, I and my children have heard what she said and did in the ward, which is also a consistent style in her professional style. Every time there is a video dialogue, she says that the isolation ward is more difficult, there are more patients, there are many things, there is a lot of work to be done, but more is to appease the patient's psychology, tell the patient to cooperate with the treatment can be cured, without too much psychological burden. Compared with the basic nursing skills of venipuncture and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the diagnosis and treatment of the new crown is often more important than hitting people's hearts and soothing the soul, and "sometimes healing, often helping, always comforting" is the highest medical skill she has learned in the past 12 years of practicing medicine. In recent days, she has happily told me that many patients in the ward have begun to calm down slowly, began to be optimistic about recovery, still yearn for the future life, less panic, and full of confidence in Nanjing's anti-epidemic work.
