Kafka's novella: The Hungry Artist, Metamorphosis

The hunger artist in particular made me think deeply about it, and the hunger show is a kind of performance that others seem meaningless and suffers intensely from themselves. He was also named an artist. At the heart of art is expression. In the story his expression is clearly not understood. People were skeptical, sympathetic, and he suffered from misunderstandings. Doubts about him (suspicion that it would steal food) hurt the artist's sensitive self-esteem. In the past, people had no way to entertain and would come to enjoy the performances of hungry artists. Here, people's appreciation is more of a curiosity than a real understanding. Later, people had more fun, and the hungry artists did not have the opportunity to perform. The tour was also canceled, and he found a circus. The idea is that when people come to see leopards, they pay attention to the performances of hungry artists. However, if the crowd in front of them stops in the aisle, the people behind them will naturally push and shove. So the artist's performance is not appreciated at all. He was so demanding of himself (not eating for more than 40 days) that he eventually starved himself to death. At first no one paid any attention to him until someone noticed a piece of straw in the cage. In his dying breath, he told the security guard that the reason I didn't eat was because I couldn't find food to eat. I felt thoughtful after reading it. We largely choose our professions (novelists, screenwriters, philosophers) that we don't love or excel at. It's that we have to do it. My thoughts make me poor and sick, I always have my own ideas about the world, I have a sensual sensibility for the things of the world. I was born with a boiling emotion and a strong mind. Just like Kafka, like an artist, the same pain for them, will be magnified more times. And the constant thoughts were constantly stimulating his nerves. Life is mediocre and trivial to the artist. It is necessary to use literature and art to resist.

Kafka's novella: The Hungry Artist, Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis I'm more concerned with his approach to expression. Kafka wrote about a person who didn't exist in reality, and what didn't exist happened as if it were real. The story is full of details and emotional hits. In particular, in the end, the sister told Gregor that if the Beetle was still Gregor, then he would be willing to be swept out of the house because of us. If the beetle is not Gregor, then it should be swept out of the house. I think metamorphosis seems to have really happened, and to a large extent he is recording what happened in a room. This is also a familiar scene. The unique perspective of the beetle, the loneliness of the human being, is gathered in Gregor. The thing that impressed me most was that after he turned into a beetle and died, the family relaxed for a day. I lived a happy and happy life again. Imagine you're like Gregor. Passive, sudden, and repulsive upheavals, such as contracting AIDS while donating blood. So will your family still be willing? But if you get sick, you can still communicate, and there is a possibility of successful communication. What if you're aphasia again? Just like a vegetative person, past experience proves that everyone will take care of it carefully at the beginning, but there is no filial piety in front of the bed for a long time. I have been hoping for your liberation for a long time, because you are liberated and your family is liberated. The sudden change shows the limited rationality of man and the contradictions arising from the complexity of the world. Man is thrown into the world, not knowing when fate will take me away?

Everyone is welcome to buy it for yourself and read it, and feel the absurd story of this genius writer telling the humanity of the big times.
