Cheng Yi was born as a scholar of Shi Jinshi, and successively served as a regimental training officer, a professor of the Xijing Guozijian, a secretary of the provincial school shulang, and a storyteller of the Chongzheng Zhengdian Temple, and was the master of the Buyi Emperor. Politically, he opposed Wang Anshi's change of law, but it was not tolerated by Su Shi and others. After his death, he was given the title of "Yiyang Bo" and the posthumous title of "Zhenggong". Cheng Yi and his brother Cheng Hao studied at the same time as Zhou Dunyi and co-founded "Luo Xue", both the founders of the Northern Song Dynasty Science, known as "Ercheng". One day, Yang Shi and You Shu [yóu, zuò] came to meet their teacher Cheng Yi, but they happened to catch the teacher napping in the house, closing their eyes and recuperating, they could not bear to disturb the teacher, so they stood next to them, patiently waiting for the teacher to wake up. At this time, it was snowing heavily outside, and it was getting heavier and heavier, but Yang Shi and You Shu were still standing in the snow, standing respectfully and respectfully, not moving, so they waited for most of the day, and when Cheng Yi woke up, he saw Yang Shi and You Yu standing in front of him and said: "Ah, ah! Both of them are here and not leaving? At this time, the snow outside the door was already more than a foot deep, and Yang Shi and You Yu did not have a hint of impatience. Therefore, this incident has become a good story in the academic circles as a model of respect for teachers, and posterity has called this matter "Cheng Men Lixue".
After that, Yang Shi returned to the south to spread the Cheng family theory, and formed an exclusive school, known as "Mr. Kameyama".
