Cheng Hao explains "knowledge, benevolence, courage" and sincerity

Knowledge, benevolence, and courage are the three virtues of the world, so the one who does it is one. A sincere also. There is nothing but honesty in these three, and apart from the three, there is no sincerity. (Ming Dao) (The Second Journey Collection, p. 19)

The three aspects of knowledge, benevolence, and courage are the noblest morality in the world, and to do so, we must be consistent with our hearts. Sincerity of intentions is sincerity. It is to do these three aspects with an honest heart, and apart from these three aspects, there is no other sincerity.

Confucius put forward the concept of the three virtues of knowledge, benevolence, and courage, and how to achieve knowledge, benevolence, and courage, Cheng Hao proposed to have sincerity, and with sincerity can we implement knowledge, benevolence, and courage, and can we turn knowledge, benevolence, and courage into practical actions. "Sincerity" is a core concept contributed to traditional Chinese culture by Ercheng Theory, and is the foundation of self-cultivation, learning, handling affairs, and even governing the country. Cheng Yi said, "Those who are sincere and immobile: self-cultivation is righteousness, governance is reasonable, and when people are approached, they are humanized." "Sincerity is also the cultural source of the concept of "honesty" and "dedication" of the core values of socialism. (October 25)
