Zang Kejia Classical Poetry Appreciation Collection" and "Zang Kejia Memoirs" and so on. His works are included in the twelve-volume Complete Works of Zang Kejia. This article tells the author's own reading experience and reading experience, advocating that reading books should be based on the extensive reading of books to "seek refinement in the bo, more and more single-minded", to have the spirit of perseverance and the momentum of desperate pursuit, reading can not be "the clouds of the clouds, pick up people's teeth and wisdom", "respect the ancients, but should not be superstitious about the ancients" and so on.

When I was asked to talk about my "experience in governance," I felt panicked, so I didn't write for a long time. In terms of age, I am seventy-seven years old; Talking about learning, not only is it very far away from "ascension", but to tell the truth, even the door path has not been clearly understood!

I graduated from university in 1934, and I studied in the Department of Chinese, the head of the department was Mr. Wen Yiduo, and the famous teachers were You Guoen, Zhang Yisun, Wen Zaiyu, Ding Shan, Xiao Difei... Mr. ... All of them were accomplished scholars in academia, and I did not learn anything from them. Of course, this is not to say that there is nothing to be gained, which means that I did not take the road of research, but poured all my energy into literary and artistic creation.

When I am old, I feel empty in my heart, and others think that I know everything, but in fact I am ignorant or know very little. In order to fill the emptiness of the past, in addition to writing for twenty or thirty years, most of the time has been spent on reading. I have some books, less than ten thousand. I don't read books for research, and I don't focus on one goal: I read a lot, but I can't even say a "miscellaneous family". In a letter to me, Mr. Mao Dun said that in his youth, he read books with hunger and thirst, read under the lamp for three hours in a row, and made his eyes sick and wanted to become a miscellaneous family. The old man sighs, wastes his years, and achieves nothing. Mr. Mao Dun is very humble, but I think this statement is by no means polite. Besides, I am not even a student of Mr. Mao Dun who may not be qualified!

I read a wide range of books; What scriptures, histories, and collections, I want to touch them, and I am eager to read some discussion articles in the press. I want to find a little common sense from all aspects, and I can talk to my expert friends. There is no end to learning the sea, the ancients can not be poor in their lives, many expert friends I know in the contemporary era are to spend decades of time and energy on a point, in order to make achievements, carry forward the past and the future. How can I compare? Because I am mainly creative, and I am secondary to reading. Of course, creation is closely related to reading. Didn't Du Fu say: "Reading a book breaks through ten thousand volumes, and the next pen is like a god."

There are many types of academic departments, no matter how great a person's ability and genius are, it is impossible to be proficient in everything and become an expert in many aspects. From a research point of view, we should choose one discipline and go all out. But to choose one, you must know more than one, seek refinement in the bo, and be more and more dedicated. Although the path of learning is very broad, it is related to each other, and even science and literature are by no means like heaven. Therefore, Wang Guowei's talk about the three realms of research and learning is indeed a valuable talk of experience.

Chairman Mao said: Man must have a little spirit. No matter what kind of work you do, you rely on a little perseverance and the momentum of desperate pursuit. Reading, studying, and engaging in literary and artistic creation are all indispensable to this spirit and motivation, otherwise nothing will be accomplished, or it will not be possible to achieve great success. Scientists, scholars, and writers who have made great contributions throughout the ages are almost without exception. When they are engaged in work, they concentrate on thinking, abandoning everything, and even sleeping and forgetting to eat, like a fool. There are too many such examples. One example may miss ten thousand.

I like to read, but I'm neither systematic nor focused. Reading books is to add a little knowledge, not to research. I read very few books, focusing on literature and art, especially classical literary and artistic works, whether it is prose, novels, poetry, I want to dabble in, especially for the latter. The few bookcases I use for my day are full of these kinds of stuff. On the side of my pillow, piled high, it was all classical poetry and poetry.

I read the books of the ancients, but I did not make great efforts to do research work, and I had the intention of reading books without seeking much understanding. When reading, the thick circle is dense, the side notes, very serious, not a word; In order to eat the taste of it, the author's feelings, thoughts, the environment of the times and the characteristics of artistic expression are required to be generally understood. Of course, everyone has their own favorite writer. Personally, I have a preference for ancient poets Du Fu and Su Dongpo. However, they are not blindly praised for their works. Some of them I hit for, thousands of times always new; Some people think that ordinary is not admirable to me, no matter how great the writer, it is not a literal pearl.

We read ancient books and respect the ancients, but we should not be superstitious about the ancients. You should have your own evaluation standard in mind and use it to measure all works. Of course, the establishment of this standard is not easy, which requires a variety of conditions. This is inseparable from an individual's outlook on life and literature and art. Reading also has a lot to do with life experience.

People are like clouds, picking up people's teeth and wisdom, like asking Hanako to ask for scraps, meaningless and should be ashamed. In terms of the ancients and the people of the present, we must have creative ideas, and this requires cultivation.

Myself, who has devoted more than fifty years of energy to literary and artistic creation, is interested in scholarship and lacks knowledge, and cannot talk about any research, let alone achievements.

Nevertheless, a little bit of bittersweet experience is still there.

I read books and just appreciate. But sometimes I also use thinking, and there are a little bit of personal opinions and ideas, which may be said to be "reading a book". I also often question this view to my expert friends for their reference.

I appreciate things, especially poetry and the like, all on two points, one is long-term life experience, and the other is more than fifty years of creative practice. Use these two points to understand and confirm.

These two points, which seem ordinary, are not easy to come by. I also write some essays about ancient texts and poems, and I also express my personal feelings about contemporary literary and artistic creations.

Of course, book knowledge, although very little, is still a star and a half.

I was given the title of "A Discussion on the Experience of Governing Learning", which was like a big hat, dangling around on my head, and there were more than a thousand words in a hurry, which was 18,000 miles away from "governing learning".
