Commemorating the 110th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution, the exhibition of cultural relics and pictures of "Sun Yat-sen Soong Ching Ling and the Xinhai Revolution" opened in Beijing
On September 28, the cultural relics photo exhibition "Sun Yat-sen Soong Ching Ling and the Xinhai Revolution" commemorating the 110th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution opened in the former residence of Comrade Soong Ching Ling, honorary president of the State in Beijing. Hang Yuanxiang, secretary of the party leading group and executive vice chairman of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation; Li Lifeng, deputy secretary general of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Li Mei, honorary director of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and friend of Soong Ching Ling before his death; Chen Aimin, director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Department of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation; Ai Duo, director of the Research Center of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and director of the Soong Ching Ling Former Residence Management Center; and representatives of the Propaganda and Education Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department and other relevant departments attended the meeting.

Hang Yuanxiang pointed out in his speech that 110 years ago, under the leadership and influence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the Xinhai Revolution, which shocked the world, was successful and overthrew the rule of the Qing Dynasty. 100 years ago, the Communist Party of China was founded, and the Chinese Communists became the staunchest supporters, the most loyal collaborators and the most loyal successors of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary cause. With the history of the Xinhai Revolution as the background, the Wuchang Uprising as the focus, the life deeds of Sun Yat-sen Soong Ching-ling as the main line, and precious historical relics and pictures as the carrier, this exhibition shows the profound significance and far-reaching impact of this epoch-making major event. I hope that through this exhibition, we can use history to reflect reality, look at the future from a distance, achieve the second centenary goal, and unite our efforts to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and always "put the responsibility of revitalizing China on our own shoulders"!

Li Mei, the granddaughter of Liao Zhongkai and He Xiangning, a descendant of the Xinhai Revolution, donated a letter from Song Qingling to Liao Mengxing on March 17, 1969, to the Song Qingling Former Residence Management Center. The letter tells about the situation that after the Red Army's Long March arrived in northern Shaanxi, Song Qingling managed to provide the Red Army with a loan of 50,000 US dollars, which is a precious historical relic.

The exhibition is sponsored by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, and jointly organized by the Soong Ching Ling Former Residence Management Center, the Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the Xinhai Revolution, the Xinhai Revolution Museum, the Wuhan Zhongshan Ship Museum, the Jianghanguan Museum, and the Song Qingling Hankou Former Residence Memorial Hall. After opening in Beijing, the exhibition will be held at the Wuhan Xinhai Revolution Museum in the first place of righteousness and exhibited in Macao.
The exhibition focuses on the advantages of sun yat-sen and soong ching-ling memorial site in Beijing and Han, with more than 200 pictures and more than 40 pieces/sets of cultural relics, including the banners of "The World is Public" and "Fraternity" inscribed by Sun Yat-sen for the Hubei revolutionaries, and the inscription of Soong Ching-ling "The Martyrs of the Xinhai Revolution Are Immortal", etc., vividly displaying the contributions of the two great men to the modern Chinese national democratic revolution initiated by the Xinhai Revolution, and reproducing the glorious deeds of the martyrs of the Wuchang Uprising.
