Rumors about her empathy or remarriage almost accompanied the rest of Soong Ching-ling's life after the death of Mr. Sun Yat-sen. And the real Song Qingling under the rumors: a woman who has been subjected to unprovoked attacks for many years, with deep anger in her heart. The earliest rumors about Song Qingling's remarriage were the news that Song Qingling and Chen Youren were about to marry in the Soviet Union during that period of exile.
Sun Yat-sen's death in Beijing on March 12, 1925 was a turning point in Soong Chingling's fate and a negative turning point in the future of the entire Chinese land.
The death of Dr. Sun Yat-sen meant that the Kuomintang had lost its original ideas and was stepping into the abyss of crime. His notion of friendship is so strange that he readily believes rumors, and so rashly slanders me, and some of his other self-conceived displays of loyalty and friendship are equally peculiar. Eugene is Chen Youren's English name, and this letter was written by Soong Ching-ling to Mrs. Chen Youren in a roundabout way. Previously, Chen Youren and his wife had sent several letters to Song Qingling, but Song Qingling did not make any reply. Because of the above, at the beginning of Chen Youren's betrayal of Mr. Sun Yat-sen's will, Soong Ching Ling refused to associate with him.
There is no way to know the content of Chen Youren's previous letter to Song Qingling, but Song Qingling's "disillusionment" is by no means a matter of children's personal affairs. Of course, there is another possibility that Chen Youren himself believed those rumors and misunderstood Song Qingling's attitude, so Song Qingling condemned him for the improper concept of friendship and wrote this letter to Chen Youren's wife.
However, this possibility is not big, judging from the-for-tat attitude of Mrs. Chen Youren when she replied to the letter later, it is more likely that the former, the so-called rumors were originally a conspiracy against Song Qingling.
2. The reason why Song Qingling was slandered
Through the sonorous attitude between the lines of this letter, it is difficult to imagine that this is from the hand of the always gentle Song Qingling, and it is not difficult to see that Song Qingling, who was attacked for no reason, has long-held anger in his bones. So where do these rumors come from?
There are different opinions about the source of the rumors, and the vast majority of people believe that everything comes from Song Qingling's eldest sister Song Ailing. The contradiction between them is because of the completely different historical trends between the three sisters of the Song family.
The eldest sister Song Ailing is more like a businessman in the strict sense, and later controlled the entire Song family, and the businessman only has interests in his eyes, and everything else is put in the second place, including family affection.
When Mr. Sun Yat-sen was alive at that time, Soong Ching Ling was naturally the first lady. Song Qingling's security secretary is called Sui Xuefang, and Song Qingling, who has no children under his knees, adopted his daughter Sui Yongqing, because of a chance meeting, the little girl's innocent appearance touched the softness of Song Qingling's heart. However, this understandable behavior was used by some well-intentioned people as a means of political struggle and attack on Soong Ching-ling.
Suddenly, rumors spread that Song Qingling and Sui Xuefang remarried and gave birth to a child.
