Soong Ching Ling was born in Shanghai in 1893, and her father, Song Jiashu, was a patriotic and democratic revolutionary with progressive ideas, who fought on the revolutionary front line with Sun Yat-sen.

For the leader of the Xinhai Revolution Sun Yat-sen, Soong Qingling also felt very admired and curious, after completing his studies, Soong Qingling crossed the ocean to Sun Yat-sen's side, became his most powerful assistant secretary, and gave Sun Yat-sen great comfort and encouragement who was in the midst of hardship.
Two years later, the two became a pair of revolutionary partners who shared life and death, and fought together on the front line of the revolution. Whether it was programmatic works such as "The Strategy for the Founding of the People's Republic" or all kinds of influential telegrams and declarations, Soong Ching-ling participated in them and played a very important role. After returning to China, Soong Ching-ling followed Sun Yat-sen in the southern and northern wars, shining brightly in the cause of anti-imperialism and anti-militarism, strongly supporting various patriotic student movements, and contributing to the formation of the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.
To a great extent, Soong Ching-ling was greatly influenced and nurtured by Dr. Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary spirit and noble character, and she had a deeper understanding of the current situation of the Chinese revolution and the essence of the Three People's Principles, which laid a very profound foundation for her to embark on the correct revolutionary road in the future. When Dr. Sun Yat-sen died of illness in 1925, Soong Ching Ling lost forever her closest companion, comrade and comrade-in-arms, as well as a noble spiritual mentor.
Although Mr. Sun Yat-sen is gone, Soong Ching Ling still shoulders the legacy he left behind and struggles ceaselessly on the road of revolution. After Chiang Kai-shek brazenly launched a counter-revolutionary coup, she firmly stood on the side of the Communist Party of China, stood with the party and the people, severely condemned the sabotage of the cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China by the Kuomintang headed by Chiang Kai-shek, and made great contributions to the final victory of the Chinese revolution.
During the anti-Japanese period, she used her high prestige to help the anti-Japanese national united front, and went to the front line many times to comfort the soldiers and boost morale, and was known as "the heroine who dared to die to save the country". After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Soong Ching Ling was elected vice chairman of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China and a member of the Standing Committee of the First Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference for his outstanding revolutionary contributions. At the same time, she also focuses on the development of the welfare of women and children, and strives to win more benefits for more vulnerable groups such as women and children.
Adopted daughter Sui Yongqing
Soong Ching Ling has made great contributions to the humanistic care for women and children in the country and even the world, and has dedicated her great maternal love to the children of all China. After the founding of New China, in order to realize his dream of being a mother, Song Qingling adopted Sui Yongqing, the daughter of Sui Xuefang, the secretary of the guard, and the Sui family lived upstairs in Song Qingling, and the relationship between the two families was particularly close, so Sui Yongqing was loved by Song Qingling as soon as he was born. After Sui Yongqing was born, Song Yongqing especially liked to hug her, often told her stories, took care of her, cared for her, and loved her as if she were his own daughter.
And Sui Yongqing also felt very close to Song Qingling, and always liked to accompany Song Qingling, which brought Song Qingling a lot of warmth and comfort. After seeing this telegram, Sui Yongqing immediately hurried back to Song Qingling's side in fear, and when he saw the dying Song Qingling lying on the bed with a pale face, Sui Yongqing could no longer hold back the reluctance and sourness in his heart, threw himself in front of her, and cried loudly.
In Sui Yongqing's cry, Song Qingling finally opened his tired eyes with difficulty, and said weakly to Sui Yongqing: "My baby, you are finally back...... After seeing his adopted daughter Sui Yongqing, Song Qingling finally closed his eyes with satisfaction and passed away forever.
Two strange things happened after Song Qingling's death, one was that the wall clock at the door suddenly stopped turning, and the hour hand stopped forever at 8:18, which happened to be the time when Song Qingling closed his eyes forever. The second thing is that the pigeons raised by Song Qingling suddenly did not want to eat after her death, and no matter what method Sui Yongqing tried to feed them, it did not have any effect. In the end, the pigeons starved themselves to death.
