On the 27th, the memorial meeting of Zheng Xiaoshan, a famous cross-talk artist in China, was held in Xi'an. Zheng Xiaoshan, formerly known as Zheng Cunyuan. Born in 1937, he studied art at the age of 8, and since the age of 13, he has been studying under the famous cross-talk artist Wang Benlin in Xi'an, and is the sixth generation of Chinese cross-talk genealogy. Its famous sections include "Advertising Talk", "Ideological Transformation", "Article Meeting" and so on.
In 1978, Zheng Xiaoshan was transferred to the Xi'an Rap Art Troupe and performed with Zhang Yutang, Li Tiancheng, Bao Songnian, Zou Yongxue, Liu Baolin, Fei Lihai, Li Yu and so on. As a music actor, Zheng Xiaoshan has always been diligent and earnest, and spares no effort to contribute to the development of the local cross-talk cause - he has trained a group of local young talents in Xi'an, including Luo Jian, Wang Xiaolei, Xu Li, Liu Bao'an, Ren Haifeng, Zheng Hongwei, Shi Ge, Miao Fu, Cao Lei, Liu Kai, Lu Song, Lian Zheng and others.
The reporter learned from the Xi'an Qingqu Society on the 27th that even in the twilight of his life, Zheng Xiaoshan still did not leave the music and art career he loved, and he served as the artistic consultant of the Xi'an Qingqu Society, performing nearly 100 times a year, sparing no effort to send joy to the audience. In addition to the performance, he also guides the business of young cross-talk actors and teaches them orally, contributing to the inheritance and development of the cross-talk cause in Shaanxi. In 2015, the "70th Anniversary of Zheng Xiaoshan's Congyi" commemorative cross-talk special session was held in Xi'an, after which he withdrew from the cross-talk stage due to physical reasons.
