On June 24, Zheng Xiaoshan died in Shenzhen at the age of 82, having been practicing art for nearly 60 years before his death, and won the Special Contribution Award of the National Traditional Cross-Talk Competition.
Zheng Xiaoshan studied under Ma Sanli's disciple Wang Benlin and is the sixth generation of the cross-talk lineage. His works include "Drama and Dialect", "Couplet", "Selling Cloth Heads", "Advertising Rambling" and other traditional cross-talk.
