Recently, in the math class of the fourth grade (2) class of The Red Army Primary School in Huining County, the class format of the students played by mathematics teacher Wang Lili and the "little teacher" and the role exchange pushed the classroom learning atmosphere to a climax, and the students rushed to raise their hands to speak.

In Ms. Wang's math class, the teacher hides behind the scenes, and the students become the protagonists, they can speak loudly, talk to each other, and even go to the podium to write on the blackboard. Since August 30, 2020, when Wang Lili came to Huining County Red Army Primary School from Tianjin Heping District Persuasion Field Primary School to teach, the math classroom here has changed its look.

And Wang Lili's fate with Huining should start from when she was studying at Tianjin Second Normal School. At that time, she read the book "Red Star Shines on China", in which she saw the word "Huining" for the first time. Since then, it has formed an indissoluble relationship with this small county in the west.

In Wang Lili's view, Huining is a land that has been deeply branded red, a hot land full of vitality and hope. As a party member teacher, how to contribute to the development of this place?

Not caring about her age and weak health, she plucked up the courage to take the responsibility of "giving up her small family and for everyone" to set off again in the year of knowing the destiny of heaven and devote herself to the support of education in poor areas.

When she first arrived in Huining, the language communication was not smooth, and all the difficulties in life and physical discomfort were overcome by Wang Lili one by one, but the more difficult problems appeared in the class she taught, the fourth grade (2) class.

The students in this class come from different parts of the countryside and different schools. Students are in a special situation, have a weak foundation, and do not develop good study habits.

After fully familiarizing herself with the situation of each student, Wang Lili started from the most basic classroom routine requirements for students and gradually cultivated students' good learning habits. She often uses her spare time to answer questions for students with learning difficulties, and also communicates with parents about how to educate their children through telephone contact or home visits.

Huining's teaching materials are completely different from those in Tianjin, so she stays up late every day to study the teaching materials, carefully prepare lessons, and produce courseware. When assigning homework, Wang Lili will not be "one-size-fits-all", but will be arranged in layers according to the actual situation of students.

The math homework she assigned, including a daily oral arithmetic, a weekly "smart problem", and a "special math homework" - through the drawing of mind maps, tables and other forms to summarize and consolidate the unit knowledge points, very popular with the children, but also let the teachers of the Red Army Primary School in Huining County give a thumbs up.

Since the end of last year, Wang Lili has served as the class teacher. She actively strives for every student the opportunity to exercise and show herself - organizing and leading students to participate in classic recitation competitions, talent exhibitions, campus calligraphy and painting competitions, National Constitution Day and Constitution Publicity Week, Huining County Education System Teachers and Students Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and other activities, which are well received.

However, Wang Lili did not "thrive", but chose "full of garden fragrance", she put the advanced educational ideas and rich education and teaching experience "all out". Since September last year, she has demonstrated 7 teaching demonstration classes, 56 lessons, 41 evaluation lessons, and one-on-one guidance to 12 teachers. In the Silver City Primary School Mathematics Quality Class Competition, the 3 classes of the Red Army Primary School and other schools in Huining County, which she directed, won the first prize of Baiyin City and the first and second prizes of Huining County respectively.

In addition, she actively carried out the "sending teaching" activities, and successively gave demonstration teaching classes to Liucha Primary School and Xiecha Primary School in Laojunpo Town, Huining County, Zhaike Primary School in Xinyuan Town, and Dangjia Danxiang Central Primary School; as a member of the expert team of the "National Training Program" Baiyin City Primary and Secondary School Teacher Ability Improvement Training Project, she also undertook the course teaching tasks and the training trainees to follow the post and practice teaching guidance.
