The spring is bright, and the tree planting site is in full swing. As soon as Sun Shaocheng got out of the car, he picked up a shovel, and together with the cadres and the masses, he shoveled the soil, cultivated the cofferdam, carried water for irrigation, and planted new seedlings. While planting trees, Sun Shaocheng asked about the study and life and labor practice of the primary school students with concern. He said that afforestation is everyone's responsibility. As long as we all take action and actively participate in afforestation, generation after generation, when the children grow up, Inner Mongolia will definitely be greener. After some intense busyness, the newly planted seedlings such as plum, white elm, euonymus, mountain peach, sugar maple and so on are scattered and towering in the wind.
During the tree planting period, Sun Shaocheng also inspected the growth of trees in the park, and had in-depth exchanges with the staff present, carefully inquiring about the varieties, sources, prices, growth cycles and other conditions of seedlings. He said that it is necessary to adhere to scientific planning, select forest varieties according to local conditions, avoid the simplification of tree species, and ensure the survival rate of trees. It is necessary to adhere to the simultaneous development of greening, rejuvenating and protecting greenery, adhere to the unity of ecological, economic and social benefits, mobilize all social forces to actively participate, vigorously promote the greening of the land, earnestly strengthen the protection of forest and grass resources, work together to do a good job in desertification prevention and control, and protect the green Great Wall of the motherland in the northern part of Xinjiang.
