Reporter: Compared with the situation of your hospital 5 years ago and now, you can feel the urgency and difficulty of the transformation of the public hospital in the town street. Some town street hospitals in Dongguan are still groping on the road of transformation, and you have embarked on a unique development path, what is the most critical reason behind this?
Wang Lili: If we have achieved a little bit of success today, then we should be most grateful for the strong support of the municipal party committee and municipal government, the municipal health bureau and the Humen town party committee and town government. In recent years, it is precisely through the spring breeze of the development of traditional Chinese medicine in Dongguan that Humen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital has had such an opportunity for development.
At the beginning of 2015, the third month I arrived at the hospital, the hospital had no money to pay salaries, and the year-end bonus of 3,000 yuan for medical staff in the previous year had not yet been paid. I found the town party committee and the town government, turned over 3 million yuan, paid salaries to medical staff, and survived the difficulties. Looking back, government departments at all levels have helped us too much.
Happiness is created through struggle. While building a high-level new hospital, we promote the construction of hospital characteristic specialties, introduce high-level specialist teams, we build a characteristic brand of traditional Chinese medicine, carry out quality services, the whole hospital staff is united, the hospital has survived, we have been balanced for 4 consecutive years and have a slight surplus.
To sum up, the most important thing for Humen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital to have such a situation today is that we have caught up with the good time and hitched a ride on the train of the rapid development of Dongguan's health and health undertakings; the Humen masses have always loved us. After moving into the new site for half a year, the business space is not enough

Wang Lili: We are very satisfied to have such a place in Humen, which is full of land. When we moved into the new hospital, we were a bit of a hospital, and I felt like a dean. Although the location looks a bit out of the way, the traffic is very convenient and there are many parking spaces, which is actually a good thing.
After moving in, our business volume in the fourth quarter of 2020 increased by 43% year-on-year, and our hospitalization volume in the first quarter of 2021 was 2.6 times that of the same period in 2020, it can be said that after we moved to the new site, the development momentum was very rapid, the masses recognized us very much, and they all praised our hospital environment and good service.
After moving to the new site for nearly half a year, our existing business buildings are not enough, and the town government has great support, and has been ready to hand over several houses next to the hospital to us, renovated and renovated, and then connected with our hospital. We hope to be delivered by the end of the year, and we all look forward to this day coming a little sooner, a little earlier.
In the past, patients came to our hospital, and the most important question they wanted to ask was: So broken, can it be inhabited? Now, Humen, Chang'an, Houjie, Sha tin and other places many people like to come to our place for treatment, as long as the patients who have come to our hospital, they all praise us for "service has characteristics, experts have level", which is our recognition.
There are often patients from other places who come specifically to the professor for medical treatment
Reporter: The resources of provincial or even national experts should be the biggest boost to your development. In recent years, with the continuous increase of Dongguan's investment in health and health undertakings, Dongguan has attracted more and more experts' attention, but it is indeed rare for a small hospital like you to have so many provincial experts.
Wang Lili: At present, there are about 400 employees in our hospital, but there are nearly 60 provincial experts who come to us regularly to sit, teach and help, and we sincerely thank these experts for helping us sincerely. The foundation of Humen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is too thin, and it is too difficult for us to develop on our own.
The professor came, and the number that could not be grabbed in Guangzhou could be seen here. Many patients from other places come to our hospital by high-speed rail and car. The masses have benefited, our doctors have followed the teachings every day, and the level has also risen. At present, our departments of traditional Chinese medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, surgery, otorhinolaryngology, dermatology, and stomatology are all treated by experts from many affiliated hospitals of Sun Yat-sen University and well-known chinese medicine doctors in the province and China.
We introduced painless acupuncture - milli-fire acupuncture founder, and our "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Milli-Fire Acupuncture Training and Promotion Center" signed a contract at the first Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Health and Wellness Cooperation Conference held in early 2018, which is one of the 27 cooperation projects signed by the province. Reporter: From the brink of closure to prosperity, you led all the staff of Humen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital to change their fate, and also found a way for the transformation of Dongguan Zhenjie Public Hospital. Wang Lili: Don't look at the fact that there are many experts coming to our hospital now, but in fact, they still can't meet the needs of the masses for professors, dongguan people's economic conditions are getting better and better, the demand for health is getting higher and higher, our experts and professors are still not enough, we still have to find ways to invite more experts.
In recent years, we have developed in accordance with the direction of "large specialties and small comprehensives" formulated by the Municipal Health Bureau, what the masses need to do, there is no blind expansion, we firmly grasp the characteristic specialties, strengthen our traditional strengths, such as pre-treatment diseases, acupuncture, orthopedics, stomatology, ophthalmology, and strengthen the pediatrics and nephrology that the masses urgently need. Last year, our Department of Pre-Treatment and Acupuncture were awarded provincial specialties.
In February this year, the municipal government approved the "Dongguan Municipal Health Bureau's Research Report on the Construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Traditional Chinese Medicine Highland", which pointed out that "Humen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital will be built into a high-quality Traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Marina Bay New Area, and it is planned to build the hospital into a second-class first-class Chinese medicine hospital with unique Chinese medicine characteristics in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area within 2 years, with a staffing capacity of 600 beds, which basically meets the needs of the people of Humen, Chang'an and Marina Bay New Area for traditional Chinese medicine services." "Now, we are working wholeheartedly and with all our might towards this goal.
Hospitals are developing rapidly, and the treatment of medical staff is rising. In the first month after moving into the new hospital, our orthopedic business increased significantly, and the bonuses of medical staff were several times that of the past, which made them more motivated to work.
