In the golden autumn, the land of Ningxia is gorgeous and colorful, and the wine under Helan Mountain is fragrant. On September 26th, the first China (Ningxia) International Wine Culture Tourism Expo with the theme of "Chinese Wines Shock the World" was grandly opened in Yinchuan, and domestic and foreign guests who love wine and love wine gathered in Yinchuan and met in the "cloud" to continue the friendship of grapes and talk about the vision of cooperation. Chen Zhu, vice chairman of the NPC Standing Committee and chairman of the Central Committee of the Peasants' and Workers' Party, attended and delivered a keynote speech; Chen Run'er, secretary of the regional party committee and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, delivered a speech; Xian Hui, deputy secretary of the regional party committee and chairman of the autonomous region, presided over the meeting; and Cui Bo, chairman of the regional CPPCC committee, attended the meeting.
The Ningxia International Hall was packed with high-end people and a warm atmosphere. At 9:00 a.m., the expo officially opened, and the participants watched the promotional video of the wine region in the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia.
Chen Zhu pointed out that Ningxia is one of the earliest regions in China to grow grapes and make wine, and the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain are recognized by the industry as the "golden production area" in the world that is suitable for growing wine grapes and producing high-end wines. When General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected Ningxia in 2016 and 2020, he pointed out the direction and placed expectations on the high-quality development of China's wine industry, which is of great and far-reaching significance for promoting the development of the wine industry in Ningxia and even the whole country.

■ Promote deep integration and expand the connotation of development, take the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia as the "test field", incorporate the development of the wine industry into the national strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, and break new ground for the agglomeration and high-quality development of China's wine industry;
■ Adhere to the wine as the medium, strengthen cultural exchanges, maximize the role of the platform of the Expo, widely hold exhibitions and cultural activities, and build Ningxia into a window for the all-round integration of Chinese wine into the world and a landmark of Chinese wine culture.
