On the morning of October 16, the 2nd Meili Snow Mountain International Wine Promotion Conference was held in Deqin County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

At the promotion meeting, Ma Guozhong, Secretary of the Deqin County Party Committee, and Zhang Zhenwen, Professor of the Wine College of Northwest A&F University, jointly unveiled the plaque for the Deqin Meili Wine Region. Since the launch of the development plan in 2000, Deqin County has adhered to the industrial development idea of "combining long and short, raising long with short, cultivating excellent and increasing efficiency, and world-class", continued to build a grape industry demonstration county of "one county and one industry", and vigorously promoted the circulation of the base through the construction of standardized demonstration gardens, increased incentives and subsidies, and made every effort to build the brand of Meili wine producing area, and relied on the winery to promote the formation of a "wine +" sightseeing belt, and "small grapes" strung up a large industry of integrated development of "wine tourism" and "wine culture".
At present, the grape planting area of Deqin County is stable at more than 6,600 acres, the output is more than 3,100 tons, the output value reaches 150 million yuan, and the development trend of wine, culture and tourism integration is strong, from January to August this year, Deqin County received a total of 2,864,700 domestic and foreign tourists, and the total cost of tourism is 3.536 billion yuan.
