According to the official website of the Red Cross Society of China, on November 6, the 21st Plenary Session of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies opened in Antalya, Turkey. The first plenary meeting of the General Assembly elected the new president, vice-president and members of the leadership committee of the federation, and Chen Zhu was successfully elected as vice chairman.
After being elected, Chen Zhu said that in recent years, while focusing on the center, serving the overall situation, and participating in the country's poverty alleviation work, the Red Cross Society of China has actively participated in the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, launched the "Red Cross and 'Belt and Road' Peer" project, strengthened cooperation with countries along the "Belt and Road", and made positive contributions to the governance and rule-making of the Red Cross Movement and international humanitarian assistance.
