As the core part of this event, the 5.8 Humanitarian Charity Day crowdfunding project has attracted much attention. The project aims to improve the public's ability to help themselves and each other in emergencies by equipping AEDs (automated external defibrillators) in crowded places and equipping 300 buses in the city with mobile first-aid kits, so as to provide a solid guarantee for the safety of citizens.
Since the launch of the crowdfunding project on April 22, the Municipal Red Cross Society has established in-depth cooperative relations with 60 units including state-owned enterprises, central enterprises, chambers of commerce, private enterprises and social welfare organizations in the city, laying the foundation for crowdfunding. At the same time, in order to improve the organizational capacity of the participating units, the Municipal Red Cross Society organized two business trainings, attracting more than 100 people to participate.
