Meng Qingxue Family Farm was established in 2017 and is located in Opposite Village, Yindou Town, Mizhi County. Meng Qingxue, the person in charge, is a member of the Communist Party of China and an intermediate professional farmer, after graduating from junior college in 2010, she worked as a salesman and a teacher, and returned to her hometown to start a business in 2017. She transferred 380 acres of abandoned mountainous land in Hejiagou Village, Guoxingzhuang Town, planted apples, millet, and beans, and operated a modern lake sheep farm with a scale of 1,000 heads. The purpose of her return to her hometown is to "make the barren mountains not barren" and let modern agriculture glow with new vitality. At present, the farm has planted 400 acres of mountain apples, built a pig farm and a lake sheep farm, with 80 pigs and 100 sheep in the lake, and the income will reach 500,000 yuan in 2023, providing 41 jobs for the surrounding villagers and paying more than 2 million yuan in wages. In 2019, the family was rated as one of the top ten happy families in Yulin City, and in 2020, the family farm was recognized as a model family farm in Shaanxi Province.
