On May 8, the Red Cross Society of Taijiang District held a Red Cross Fraternity Week publicity activity and Red Cross capacity building training course with the theme of "Humanity Continues" to further enhance the public's understanding of the Red Cross Movement and enhance the operational capacity of grassroots Red Cross organizations.
At the beginning of the event, the promotional video "Red Bova Talks about the Red Cross" was played on the spot, and the development of the Red Cross cause was introduced in detail, so that the participants had a more comprehensive understanding of the Red Cross cause.
In the fundraising and promotion session of the "5.8 Humanitarian Public Welfare Day", the District Red Cross Society specially introduced the project of "Eagle Sailing Scholarship - Financial Aid Program for Disadvantaged College Students". This fundraising will provide necessary life, education, and psychological support for "adult de facto unsupported children", and a love donation initiative was also launched at the event site to encourage caring people to actively participate and jointly light up the road to education for college students in difficulty.

Guo Xiaohong, Tan Lumin and other 10 representatives of caring people were awarded the "Love Messenger" medal
Subsequently, the leaders of the meeting commended the caring units and caring individual representatives of the 2023 "99 Charity Day" online fundraising activities such as Taijiang Public Security Bureau, Yingzhou Sub-district Office, Guo Xiaohong, and Tan Lumin.
The District Red Cross Society also carried out targeted training for the participants around the main responsibilities and main business of the Red Cross "Three Rescues and Three Contributions" and the relevant knowledge of grassroots organization construction. Through the training, the participants not only improved their professional knowledge and competence, but also deepened their understanding and recognition of the spirit of the Red Cross.
