The comprehensive drill simulated a devastating earthquake in Ningxia. The drill activities are divided into school emergency command and disposal, emergency evacuation and earthquake avoidance of all teachers and students, and emergency rescue drills after the earthquake.
At 9:50 a.m., the first "earthquake alarm" signal was issued, and the school immediately launched an emergency response, the teachers stopped teaching, organized students to take emergency shelter indoors, and instructed students to quickly hide under their desks with their heads and use schoolbags to protect their heads as much as possible. The second "emergency evacuation" signal was issued, and the evacuated teachers immediately arrived at the designated location, organized the orderly evacuation of students, and the students bent over to protect their heads, and quickly and orderly evacuated the classroom according to the evacuation route and ran to the designated assembly point. When all teachers and students are evacuated to the designated assembly point, the teachers of each class immediately count the number of people to ensure that there are no personnel omissions. At the same time, the school rescue team immediately treated the injured. The whole exercise process was fast, safe and orderly, and achieved the expected results.
This exercise is not only an active exploration and attempt of earthquake emergency response, but also an effective way to further implement the earthquake emergency plan and improve the comprehensive command and coordination capabilities of primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the city.
