May 12, 2024 is the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day, in order to further publicize and popularize the knowledge of disaster prevention and reduction, enhance the awareness of disaster risk prevention among the grassroots people, and improve the ability of active disaster prevention, scientific disaster avoidance, and effective disaster reduction. On May 11, Times Community launched a publicity activity with the theme of "Everyone Stresses Safety, Everyone Meets Emergency Response, and Strives to Improve Grassroots Disaster Prevention and Risk Avoidance Capabilities".
At the meeting, the community secretary of the property and key enterprise units in the jurisdiction was invited to explain in detail the response and prevention measures for common disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and floods, publicize and popularize disaster prevention and mitigation and fire safety knowledge, and enhance the self-defense and self-rescue capabilities of residents and enterprises
After the meeting, the secretary of the Times Community led the team to check whether there are electric vehicles parked indiscriminately, occupying and blocking fire passages, "flying wire charging", and privately pulling the phenomenon of wires, and in view of the difficulties of the recent cases that are handled immediately, the blocking points have in-depth exchanges of opinions with residents, and resolutely put an end to the occurrence of flying wires and other fire-prone situations.
The original narrow corridor is crowded by all kinds of living debris, which not only affects the normal passage of residents, but also has fire safety hazards. In order to ensure that the fire escape is unimpeded, the staff inspected the stacking of materials in the corridor and hallway on the spot, and urged the residents to clean up in time.
Safety production is no trivial matter, the biggest safety hazard is people's luck psychology, I hope that each of us can abide by the rules, build a strong sense of safety, and have a safe and happy life.
