On May 8, Guizhou Yuqing Economic Development Zone, the County Fire and Rescue Brigade, the County Emergency Management Bureau, the County Public Security Bureau and other units carried out a comprehensive emergency drill for plant fire and elevator safety accidents in 2024 in the No. 8 plant of Baini Park in the Economic Development Zone to build a solid line of defense for life safety.
The drill simulated a fire caused by a short circuit on the second floor of the factory, which spread rapidly, resulting in injuries to 2 workers, and at the same time, the circuit tripped and trapped 2 workers in the elevator who were transferring goods. After receiving the fire, all units quickly rushed to the scene and carried out rescue work. With the full cooperation of everyone, the fire was completely extinguished, the trapped people were successfully rescued, and the tasks of the drill were effectively completed, and the expected results were achieved.
The purpose of this drill is to further test the reliability of the emergency rescue mechanism for fire accidents in the factory area, improve the collaborative combat ability of the emergency rescue team, and enhance the fire safety awareness of enterprise employees.
After the drill, Guizhou Yuqing Economic and Technological Development Zone immediately held a safety production work meeting in the second quarter of 2024 to deploy and implement various requirements for safety production work and further enhance the safety prevention level of enterprises in the Economic and Technological Development Zone.
