My mother is a professor at the School of Foreign Chinese of a university, and since last year, she has been in charge of an exchange program. So, two months ago, there was an extra little friend in the family - a European exchange student.

The safest country
The first time I went out to play, it was 9 o'clock in the evening, and the exchange student asked curiously, "Do you really want to go out so late?" At that time, I didn't understand why it was so late, so I patiently told her that in China, the 9 o'clock nightlife has not yet started.
It was not late at all, and when she heard that there was still nightlife, the exchange student was more and more surprised, in her mind, this point was to wash up and lie in bed, read a book and sleep.
So I asked her why she thought it was late at 9 p.m., and she told me that in Europe, people go to bed earlier because the security outside is so bad that if you are not careful, you will be violated.
So to be on the safe side, everyone will go out for a walk after dinner early, and then go home early, and generally rarely stay outside to avoid accidents. When I muttered to myself, is it so dangerous to think?
Then she told me that after all, there are too many refugees pouring in Europe, and there are many people with mixed mouths, and people's hearts are unpredictable.
When the exchange student said this, I suddenly realized that there are indeed more homeless people abroad. Although there is still a big gap between China and the rest of the country in terms of economic aggregate, in fact, the happiness in China is higher, because our welfare system is almost in the public construction. The gap between rich and poor is also getting smaller.
In the past, I still longed for life abroad, and it was true that the domestic development was not good at that time, and it was still very backward, but now we have really made a lot of progress.
Speaking of which, I kind of understand why exchange students feel that China's law and order is better. I told her that since ancient times, the Chinese nation has been a big family that has lived in friendship with each other, and the 56 nationalities are one family.
This made the exchange students even more envious, and she told me that the huge social problems in Europe are because many conflicts cannot be effectively resolved, which has given rise to many social security problems.
As soon as I heard this, I asked a direct question: But your social welfare is generally very good, so there shouldn't be too much chaos, right?
The exchange student shook his head and said that this is not the case, saying that the high welfare policy in Europe makes people very nostalgic for a superior living situation, and if the living standard drops slightly, it will be extremely sensitive, and it is very likely that they will strike and protest, and at the same time, the economic downturn, high unemployment, and many refugees will be mixed, and the social pressure will be increasing, which is likely to cause more serious public security problems.
As soon as the exchange students said this, I suddenly didn't envy the good welfare treatment of those European countries so much, after all, safety comes first, but sometimes they can't even guarantee safety, so what kind of welfare?
But this is not the case with China in comparison. At that time, I said this with the exchange students.
In our opinion, China is a very safe country, and you can walk around the streets in the early hours of the morning without worrying, although it is not like this everywhere, but in the cities, most of them are very safe.
People only need to think in one place, work hard in one place, plan how to live their lives well, if there is spare energy, everyone can help each other, enhance feelings, there are few life-threatening security problems, even if there is, with China's perfect security system, no matter how big the problem can be quickly solved.
All ethnic groups in China are like brothers and sisters, helping each other, supporting each other in times of difficulty, and our unity has built such a beautiful homeland. It is precisely because of this that no matter which province we go to in China, we will feel very friendly.
In fact, we live in such an environment, maybe it is too ordinary, we have forgotten, in fact, the world is not all like this, there are many places that are dangerous, we don't know, the things that we are accustomed to, in the eyes of people in other countries are so luxurious and happy.
For Europe, in fact, they are missing a Qin Shi Huang compared to us, and if it were not for the fact that we have such a great monarch, we would not have the unity we have today.
In the past, there were many people who flocked to the country after they became famous, but we believe that this trend will decrease. China is getting better and better, and our motherland is the most suitable place for us to survive and develop.
I only hope that more and more people will understand, in fact, the fantasy of foreign countries is just because of the information check, and a trip may feel very good, but when you really go abroad, you will find that it is different from the domestic one, and the one that suits you is the best, but I hope not to wait until you go abroad to really understand what is suitable for you.
If you know people who have been abroad, ask them how they feel, and you will find that most of them are actually more willing to return to China.
As far as difficult policing is concerned, those who have not really experienced it may not be able to imagine what is most important when the threat comes.
There are scenery abroad that we have not seen, but for China, in fact, we have a lot of great rivers and mountains, we may not be able to see all the great rivers and mountains of the motherland, if you have the opportunity, you can walk more, take a look at the mountains and rivers of the motherland.
Each of our places has its own unique charm.

During the summer vacation of my sophomore year, two girls in my class and I went abroad for internships, but we went to the United States, not Europe. I was lucky enough to go to Montana, which was safe, but it also had to do with the location.
The other two classmates went to California, which was a bit dangerous in comparison, and experienced things that were never imagined. At that time, they were hiding in the grass and were not accidentally injured.
After returning to China, the two said: I am really lucky to be a Chinese citizen, the public security is really good, and I will be a Chinese citizen in the next life. In the face of security, there is almost nothing that matters.
