The May Day holiday is approaching, in order to do a good job in gas safety during the holiday, on April 29, Jingyuan County Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, together with the county market supervision, commerce, fire protection, gas company and other departments and units, carried out a special surprise investigation and rectification of gas safety on gas businesses and crowded places, so as to comprehensively eliminate gas safety hazards and prevent major emergencies.
The joint inspection team implemented the work requirements of "four noes and two straights", and successively came to food cities, restaurants, hotels and other places where gas businesses are intensively used, focusing on whether the gas pipelines in the places are running with diseases, whether the alarms are faulty, whether the hoses are aging, and whether the bottled liquefied gas is compliant.
According to the relevant work requirements of provinces, cities and counties, we usually carry out normal safety inspections on municipal pipelines, residential fire, non-residential fire, commercial complexes, etc., and at the same time strengthen the implementation of emergency maintenance operations. This time, led by the County Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, we cooperated with the fire brigade, the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, and the Emergency Bureau to conduct safety inspections before May Day on market complexes and municipal pipelines, eliminating some potential safety hazards and ensuring the safe passage of May Day.
Today, we have joined forces with the Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, the Bureau of Commerce, the Fire Brigade and the Gas Company to inspect some places where gas is more intensive, such as Food City, Wulan Hotel and Xinhua Hotel.
Gas safety is no small matter. In the next step, Jingyuan County will focus on issues such as gas pipeline safety, gas use specifications, and gas pipeline pressure, with high standards and strict requirements to inspect gas safety hazards, adhere to the problem orientation, strengthen gas safety management, regularly organize and carry out safety inspections, continuously increase the crackdown on gas violations and regulations, and effectively build a solid gas safety defense line to ensure that the county's gas safety situation continues to be stable, and effectively protect the lives and property safety of the people in the jurisdiction.
