On April 27, Fangtang Expressway constructed four standard asphalt pavement, and the lower test section was successfully paved, marking the official opening of the asphalt pavement construction curtain of the project, and the project construction accelerated into a new stage.
Closely prepare and work together
The asphalt pavement lower layer test section is located in the right width of K86 + 360-K86 + 560, with a total length of 200 meters and a width of 11.25 meters, the main line asphalt pavement structure has many layers, the materials are solid, and the asphalt mixture is paved with 450 tons.
In order to successfully complete the paving of the test section, the project department planned ahead and deployed strictly. The owner company, the supervision unit, the central laboratory, and external experts have been invited to hold on-site seminars for many times, continuously optimize the production mix parameters, improve the construction plan, and strictly control the quality of raw materials. Organize technical personnel and on-site teams to carefully study relevant technical specifications and construction drawings, hold a safety technical disclosure meeting to ensure that all employees clearly grasp the paving process, control points and precautions, and formulate a division of responsibilities table for the test section, subdivide 5 major items and 36 small items, clarify the work content and responsibilities, and assign responsibilities to people. The survey team reviewed and encrypted the traverse points and leveling points attached to the test section, and staked out accordingly to control the pavement edge and elevation.
Orderly construction and full control
During the construction process, from mixing and transportation to paving, rolling and temperature testing, the on-site management personnel strictly controlled and carefully recorded. The project department strictly controls the on-site process management, pays close attention to the key links such as mixture mixing, on-site paving, and rolling, and conscientiously does a good job in the temperature control and process connection of asphalt mixture paving. The VÖGELE large paver SUPER 2100-3L was used for one-time paving of the whole section, and the combination of tandem roller and rubber tyre roller was used for rolling, adhering to the compaction principle of "high temperature, close follow-up, high frequency, low amplitude, slow pressure and small water", and setting obvious signs for the initial pressure, re-pressure and final pressure sections, so that the surface layer could neither leak pressure nor overpressurize.
At the same time, in order to ensure the safety and quality of asphalt mixture paving is controllable, the project technicians strictly control the mixing, transportation, paving, rolling, testing, maintenance and other processes of the mixture, and the test and testing personnel accurately detect the asphalt paving width, flatness, compaction and thickness in real time.
Review the experience and optimize the plan
After intense and orderly construction, the project successfully completed the paving of the test section, and the indicators of on-site testing have met the design specifications and quality requirements, "the paving provides a rich data basis for verifying the construction mix ratio of the lower layer of asphalt concrete, determining the loosening coefficient of the lower layer of asphalt concrete, the control method of mixture ratio, mixing method and mixing output, quality control and quality inspection", said Li Chunyan, manager of the project quality department. Subsequently, the project will organize relevant personnel to review the relevant data in a timely manner, review and analyze the whole process, carefully inspect each link, find out the areas that can be improved, discuss and study, summarize experience and propose improvement and optimization plans.
