The blending is varied, and the charm is endless

Tie-dyeing is a traditional and unique dyeing process in China, which uses the principle that the fabric is partially tied up so that it cannot be colored when dyed, creating colorful and diverse artworks. In club activities, members master the basic knowledge and basic skills of tie-dye through systematic learning and practice. They learn how to draw patterns, how to use the binding of threads, and the direction and way of walking the needle to outline different lines and patterns. The process of tie-dyeing not only exercises the students' hands-on ability, but also cultivates their innovative thinking and aesthetic ability. Members of the club learn traditional tie-dye techniques to enrich the expression of tie-dye. Through group work and individual practice, they tie-dye ordinary scarf items to give them an ancient and avant-garde glow.

Shake the bamboo, and the happiness is infinite

It was approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. It is a sport that relies on the skillful coordination of the limbs. When the two-handed grip rod shakes the hollow bamboo to do various tricks, the shoulder joints, elbow joints, wrist joints of the upper limbs, the hip joints, knee joints, and ankle joints of the lower limbs, plus the cervical spine and lumbar spine are all moving to varying degrees, so shaking the hollow bamboo helps people's physical health. Through these works, we seem to be able to travel back to time and space, back to that era full of gunpowder smoke and passion, and feel the heroic deeds and lofty quality of the revolutionary ancestors. These ultra-light clay works are not only a tribute to the memory and admiration of our revolutionary ancestors, but also a inheritance and encouragement of the spirit of our generation.

Through this activity, the students not only learned about the excellent traditional Chinese culture, but also enhanced their awareness of protecting and promoting the traditional culture of the motherland with their own personal experience. Let intangible cultural heritage enter the campus, which is not only cultural inheritance, but also curriculum innovation! Let students feel the charm of traditional culture in hands-on practice, and plant a seed of cultural inheritance in students' hearts from an early age!
