On May 16, 2024, the "International Museum Day and Commemoration of the 180th Anniversary of Wu Changshuo's Birth Calligraphy and Painting Masterpieces and Inkstone Inscription Exhibition" organized by Hong Kong Jiguzhai Auction Co., Ltd., Danguang Biye (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., Beijing Yantai Culture Museum, Hong Kong Education and Culture Group, Wu Changshuo Culture and Art Foundation, Beijing Jingmen Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Beijing National Museum Cultural Relics Appraisal Center, People's Artist Magazine, and Danguang Biye (Beijing) Brand Operation and Management Co., Ltd. was held in Beijing Yantai Cultural Museum. Nearly 100 paintings and calligraphy works of Wu Changshuo and Wu Changshuo inscription inkstone were exhibited.

Mr. Liu Ketang, a master of handicrafts in the Asia-Pacific region and a master of Chinese arts and crafts, and Mr. Qi Zengsheng, the first Chinese inkstone carver and Shandong Muyunlou Scholar Co., Ltd., came to the stage to donate inkstones.

Ren Jianxin, vice chairman of the China Arts and Crafts Society, and Yu Zhongwen, director of the Beijing Yantai Cultural Museum, came to the stage to issue donation certificates to the two teachers.

May 18 is International Museum Day, and this year's theme is "Museums Committed to Education and Research", coinciding with the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great artist Wu Changshuo. By displaying Wu Changshuo's artworks, the Beijing Yantai Cultural Museum provides the audience with an opportunity to intuitively understand his artistic style, promote the popularization and deepening of traditional art, and let more people understand and love the works of this art master, thereby promoting the inheritance and development of traditional art. Wu Changshuo, an artistic giant, is also a master of inkstones, and he participated in the inscription of more than 100 inkstone rubbings recorded in the book "Shen's Yanlin". This exhibition not only displays nearly 100 paintings and calligraphy by Wu Changshuo, but also shows the art of inkstone and inkstone, and I believe that through today's exhibition, it will not only bring us the enjoyment of beauty, but also the deep touch and precious nourishment of the soul.

With a construction area of more than 700 square meters, Beijing Yantai Cultural Museum is jointly founded by Beijing Yan Culture Development Research Association, Yan Culture Research Branch of China Yanhuang Culture Research Association, Yan Culture and Art Professional Committee of China Arts and Crafts Society, and Beijing Diwoke Cultural and Creative Co., Ltd. The museum officially opened on March 18, 2023, and was approved by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics on November 24, entering the sequence of Beijing museums, with nearly 20,000 visitors since its opening. At present, the museum has five exhibition halls: the Spring and Autumn Period of the inkstone, the competition for brilliance of the inkstone, the masterpiece of famous artists, the inkstone used by celebrities, and the past and the future, as well as two temporary exhibition halls of inkstone art and calligraphy and painting art. In accordance with the purpose of protecting, inheriting and developing Chinese inkstone culture, popularizing inkstone cultural knowledge, inheriting Chinese civilization, and contributing to the realization of the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the museum is built and exhibited in accordance with the requirements of comprehensiveness, systematization and high taste. The exhibits range from prehistoric grinders to today's famous craftsmen, covering all historical stages of the development of Chinese civilization, and some of the fine products on display are refreshing and breathtaking.
