On April 20th, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Together with Innocence: The Harmony and Mutual Existence of Artists and Children" co-sponsored by the School of Art Education of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and the Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, as well as the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Second Academic Forum on Family and Children's Aesthetic Education" were held at the University Town Campus of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
This exhibition has a total of 42 pieces (groups) of artworks co-created by 138 artists and 837 children from all over the country, restoring the two-way process of artists and children with an open theme, showing the unique charm of "children's participatory art" with diversified contemporary art forms, and "working with children" and "teaching for children" Two different participatory art forms form the framework of the exhibition, showing the results of artistic creation and aesthetic education practice, guiding the public to look at children, look at the present, and discover the diverse faces of children, art and children's art.
Cai Yonghua, vice president of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, said that this exhibition shows the new concept and new look of contemporary aesthetic education from a humanistic perspective, with the theme of "children's aesthetic education", and innovatively adopts the "fusion" method of artists and children to create and display, presenting the achievements of school aesthetic education, family aesthetic education, rural aesthetic education, special education, as well as extracurricular aesthetic education, community aesthetic education and other social aesthetic education, representing the new vision of Guangmei Academy of Art Education in the in-depth exploration of new paths of children's aesthetic education.
