At present, the total outdoor area of the kindergarten has been expanded from 840 square meters to 1,393 square meters, and the green area has changed from 725 square meters to 1,152 square meters. The site geology has been expanded from the original 3 types of plastic land, grassland and soil (planting land) to 7 types of plastic land, grassland, artificial turf, sand and water, cement land, mud land (planting land) and pebble land. The type of site is no longer limited to flat land, but incorporates various elements such as hillsides, grass, ditches and observation decks, making the outdoor experience more colorful for children.

Mantianxing Kindergarten is located in the community of Taopu Road in the 80s of the last century, built in 1999, and currently has 6 classes. Although the outdoor activity venue of about 840 square meters is moderate, the restrictions of various passages, landscape areas and other venues are not convenient for children to carry out activities.
From the "child's perspective", the kindergarten started an attempt to renovate the outdoor field of the kindergarten with the children. Sand and water games have always been one of the most popular games for young children. Originally, the sand pit and the pool were connected, and there were some large exercise equipment for climbing and balancing, so there was not enough space for sand and water. Troublesomely, hardware facilities can be redesigned, however, how to properly deal with those wild cats that roam from time to time has become a difficult problem to solve. Should the sand pool be covered with a cloth? The "cat repellent" should be used? Or should a special person be responsible for cleaning it up every day? The kindergarten education team has tried various methods, but with little success. When they were at a loss, the children provided new ideas for "problem solving".

On a daily basis, the glass house plays a role in sheltering from the wind and rain, even in extreme weather, it does not delay children's sand and water games. There are multiple doors and windows on the upper and lower floors to ventilate and dissipate heat, and sunlight can also shine in through the stained glass, so that children can bathe in it.
Today, this sand pool with a colorful roof not only effectively blocks the intrusion of kittens, but also becomes a unique scenery in the kindergarten.

The lawn area before the kindergarten is combined with large equipment, and most of the sports are mainly based on gross motor development. In the area adjacent to the fence, overgrown bushes and isolated green belts have become "barriers" for children's activities.
In order to incorporate every grass, tree, flower and tree into the curriculum resources, so that the site area is full of unknown changes and challenges, and more attractive, the kindergarten interviewed the children again and listened to suggestions through videos, texts, drawings and other forms.
