This year, the traffic environment in 10 key traffic areas in Beijing will be optimized, and 10 traffic hotspots near schools, hospitals, scenic spots, and business districts will be comprehensively managed. The Municipal Public Security Traffic Management Bureau revealed that the "Double Ten Project" will comprehensively improve the road capacity of the transformed area.
It was learned from the traffic management department that in the first "ten" project, the 10 key traffic areas involved a total of 4 types of areas, namely the ring road and bridge area nodes, the main station area and entrances and exits of the expressway, the dense travel area and the transportation hub.
According to reports, the first type of area in the ring road bridge area nodes include Fuxingmen Bridge, East Forty Bridge, Jishuitan Bridge, Dajiaoting Bridge, the traffic management department will be in accordance with the "first out and first in" optimization ideas, scientific adjustment of the ring road entrance and exit settings, widening the transformation of bottleneck nodes, optimize and adjust signal control, to reduce vehicle interweaving conflicts, smooth traffic flow for the purpose of enhancing the overall traffic capacity of the urban ring road "aorta".
The second type is to optimize and transform the main station area of the expressway and the traffic flow line at the entrances and exits. According to the feedback of the public, the traffic management department implemented road engineering transformation at the Dujiakan toll station of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway and the Beiguan section of the Tongyan Expressway, partially increased the number of lanes, alleviated the problem of intertwined and intertwined traffic flow at the entrance and exit of the main and auxiliary roads, and coordinated the property rights unit to remove the deactivated facilities, increase the vehicle traffic space, and reasonably optimize the traffic flow of the toll station.
The "travel-intensive areas" mentioned in the third category refer to the permanent site of the Zhongguancun Forum in Haidian District and the Anningzhuang area, where measures such as adjusting the flow of vehicles in and out of the area and improving traffic facilities will be taken to improve road capacity and ensure smooth traffic.
The fourth type of traffic stations include the Chaoyang District International Trade Transportation Hub and Chaoyang Station area, and the measures taken are to optimize the bus line sites, open up the surrounding dead-end roads, and adjust the traffic organization and improve the traffic guidance system in real time in combination with the changes in the road network structure and traffic flow, so as to improve the regional road traffic capacity and surrounding travel experience.
At the same time, the traffic management department will also work the second "ten" according to the characteristics of different traffic operations of schools, hospitals, scenic spots and business districts.
These ten locations are Shijia Primary School Branch, Chaoyang School of the High School Affiliated to Capital Normal University, Fengtai School of the High School Affiliated to the National People's Congress, Tongren Hospital, People's Hospital, Xiyuan Hospital, Temple of Heaven Park, Xiangshan, Changping Vanke Mall, and Xihongmen Huiju Business District. In these locations, the traffic management department will work together with the local government to scientifically implement optimization and transformation according to local conditions, one place and one policy, effectively improve road traffic capacity, and focus on carrying out fine and comprehensive traffic management.
The traffic management department said that the 20 points involved in the "Double Ten Project" have set the expected goals and completion time limits respectively, and clarified the responsibility of the territorial detachment and the brigade. After the completion of the transformation, the traffic management department will improve the relevant traffic supporting facilities according to the traffic operation, dynamically optimize the signal timing, evaluate, analyze and fine-tune measures in real time, effectively improve the traffic efficiency, and make the road network traffic environment better and better.
