On the morning of April 8, the launching ceremony of the construction of Huimin Elevator was held in Jinhuayuan Community, Dongli Community, Yihe Zhuang, and the heads of the District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee, the Street City Management Office, the heads of the Dongli community of Yihe Zhuang, and representatives of elevator companies and property companies participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
At the ceremony, the person in charge of the urban management office introduced the policy of adding elevators to old buildings, interpreted the use of the "elevator map" for residents, and the leaders of the District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee gave guidance on the installation of elevators in old buildings.
Subsequently, the representative of the construction party made a commitment that the construction will be civilized, safe and completed on schedule under the joint supervision of the street and relevant departments.
Finally, the representatives of the residents of Jinhuayuan Community sent a pennant with the words "Wholeheartedly seek welfare for the people and do everything possible to promote harmony" to express the gratitude of the residents.
At the event site, Aunt Zhang, who lives in the high-rise building, said excitedly: "In the past, we had to carefully hold on to the corridor handle when we went downstairs, for fear of falling, and it was even more sad when we were ready to go upstairs to go home.
Since the start of the work of adding elevators to old buildings, Linxiao Road Street has completed the installation of 11 elevators in old buildings, helping residents of 11 units to realize the dream of adding elevators to home with one click. This year, the street plans to install more than 10 elevators, and truly do a good job in the "people's project" of installing elevators in old buildings.
