Candidates who meet the requirements for the interview should log in to the Primary and Secondary School Teacher Qualification Examination Network (http://ntce.neea.edu.cn) from 10:00 on April 12, 2024 to 24:00 on April 13, 2024, and register online according to the column guidelines. After the registration deadline, the registration system will be closed, and the registration will not be accepted after the deadline. The interview dates for the first half of 2024 are: Saturday, May 11, 2024 and Sunday, May 12, 2024. "Interview" is an important part of the teacher qualification examination, which mainly examines the candidates' basic literacy such as professional cognition, psychological quality, appearance and demeanor, thinking quality, and basic teaching skills such as teaching design, teaching implementation, and teaching evaluation. Only those who have passed the written examination of the teacher qualification examination can participate in the interview. II. Application Requirements
(1) Interview subjects
1. Have the nationality of the People's Republic of China and be in good health.
2. Not reaching the national statutory retirement age.
(2) Abide by discipline and law
1. Abide by the Constitution and laws, love education, abide by teachers' professional ethics, and have good ideological character.
2. Those who have been revoked as teachers must not register for examinations for 5 years, and those who have been deprived of their political rights, or who have been criminally punished with fixed-term imprisonment or higher for intentional crimes, must not register for examinations.
(3) Pass the written test
Candidates who have passed the written examination of the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination and are within the validity period can register for this interview.
(4) Meet any of the following identities
1. Social personnel with household registration in the city (including in-service and unemployed persons).
2. Social personnel with household registration in other provinces and cities (including in-service and unemployed persons) who hold a valid residence permit in this city.
Note: Holding a valid residence permit in this city refers to the residence permit for talent introduction in this city that was processed before June 30, 2013 and is valid within the validity period of the residence permit for talent introduction in this city (the certificate number starts with CW9) or the residence permit of the city that was processed after July 1, 2013 and is within the validity period, and the temporary residence permit or the registration process are not allowed to apply for the examination.
3. Full-time students of the third year or above (including the third year) of ordinary institutions of higher learning in this city, full-time students of the fourth year or above of ordinary colleges and universities, students in the last year of secondary and higher vocational education, and full-time graduate students (including students from other provinces and cities and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who have not moved to this city but are studying full-time in ordinary colleges and universities in this city).
4. Full-time students of the third grade or above (including the third year) of ordinary institutions of higher learning who are registered in other provinces and cities, full-time students of the fourth grade or above of ordinary colleges and universities, and full-time graduate students.
5. Holders of residence permits for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents within the validity period of the city.
6. Holders of a valid Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents or a Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents with a validity period of 5 years.
(5) Academic qualifications
They should have the corresponding academic qualifications stipulated in the "Teachers Law" and the "Guiding Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Carrying out the Pilot Reform of Teacher Qualification Examinations in Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens". The details are as follows:
1. Kindergarten and primary school teacher qualifications, should have a college degree or above.
2. Junior high school teacher qualifications shall have a bachelor's degree or above.
3. Teachers in senior high schools and secondary vocational schools shall have a bachelor's degree or above.
4. The qualifications of internship instructors in secondary vocational schools shall have a secondary vocational school graduation or above, and shall have a professional and technical position equivalent to that of an assistant engineer or above or a technical level of a worker at or above the intermediate level.

3. Interview registration process and admission ticket download
(1) Online registration
1. Online registration time and website:
Candidates who meet the requirements for the interview should log in to the Primary and Secondary School Teacher Qualification Examination Network (http://ntce.neea.edu.cn) from 10:00 on April 12, 2024 to 24:00 on April 13, 2024, and register online according to the column guidelines. After the registration deadline, the registration system will be closed, and the registration will not be accepted after the deadline.
2. Related matters:
(1) Test area selection: Social candidates select "Shanghai Test Area (Interview)", interview category, interview subject, and complete other information entry.
(2) Candidates who have passed all subjects in the written examination of the category reported by the candidates and whose results are within the validity period will be eligible for the interview. The online registration system has the function of judging whether the candidates' written test results are eligible for registration, and candidates whose written test results are not yet qualified will not be able to carry out further online registration operations.
(3) Candidates must fill in their own information truthfully and accurately according to the requirements prompted on the registration page and be responsible for the accuracy of the information.
(4) Photo requirements: a bareheaded white background frontal color ID photo within the past 6 months (hats, headscarves, headbands, sunglasses, etc. are not allowed), the size of the photo is not more than 200K, the format is JPG/JPEG, the photo must show the upper part of the candidate's head and shoulders, and the background of the photo must be a white background (furniture, door frames, landscapes, trees and other objects are not allowed in the background) color photo. (It is recommended to use Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Drawing, Photoshop, ACDsee and other tools to crop and compress photos).

This photo will be used for the admission ticket and the certificate of passing the examination, and candidates should choose carefully when uploading the photo. Candidates who fail to pass the photo review will not be able to confirm their registration information.

5. Interview subjects and outline
(1) Interview subjects
1. The interview for the kindergarten teacher qualification examination is not divided into subjects.
2. The interview subjects of the primary school teacher qualification examination are: Chinese, mathematics, English, ethics and rule of law, science, physical education, music, art, mental health education, and information technology, a total of 10 subjects.
3. The interview subjects for the junior high school teacher qualification examination are: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Ethics and the Rule of Law, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Music, Physical Education and Health, Art, Information Technology, History and Society, Science, Mental Health Education, Japanese, and Russian, a total of 18 subjects.
The interview subjects for the senior high school teacher qualification examination are: Chinese, mathematics, English, ideology and politics, history, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, music, physical education and health, art, information technology, general technology, mental health education, Japanese, Russian, a total of 17 subjects.
4. The interview subjects of the teacher qualification examination of the secondary vocational culture course are the same as those of the senior high school, the interview subjects of the teacher qualification examination of the secondary vocational professional course and the secondary vocational internship guidance course according to the candidate's major.
Note: The city does not open the "primary school all-subject" subject for the time being.

6. Interview methods and procedures
(1) Interview method
1. The interview adopts structured interviews, situation simulations, etc., and is conducted through lesson preparation (or activity design, or subject examination + teaching design), trial lecture (or demonstration), defense (or statement) and other links;
2. The process of the candidate's face-to-face examination must be carried out in the form of "trial lecture", and no points will be given in the form of "lecture".
(2) Interview procedures
1. Waiting for the exam. Candidates should arrive at the test center on time with the paper interview admission ticket (mobile phone photography is invalid) and the original ID card, and enter the waiting room to wait for the test.
2. Draw questions. Candidates enter the drawing room, and according to the arrangement, the interview question bank system randomly generates test questions (among them, kindergarten candidates choose one test question from the two randomly generated test questions; other stage candidates randomly generate one test question), and then the staff prints out the test question list and transmits it to the preparation room and then sends it to the candidates.
3. Prepare for lessons. Candidates enter the preparation room and write a lesson plan (or activity demonstration plan) according to the list of test questions, and the preparation time is 20 minutes.
Note: For the three subjects of mental health education, Japanese and Russian in the qualifications of teachers of secondary vocational professional courses and secondary vocational internship instructors, as well as the qualifications of teachers of junior high school, high school and secondary vocational cultural courses, the time in the preparation room is 50 minutes, and the subject test will be 30 minutes (the test form is computer-based), and then the next 20-minute teaching design will be carried out. The subject test consists of 50 questions, including general questions (20 questions) and professional questions (30 questions), all of which are multiple-choice questions. 30% of the subject test score will be counted towards the overall interview score.
4. Answer the prescribed questions. Candidates will be guided to the designated interview room by the staff. The examiner randomly selects 2 prescribed questions from the question bank, and the candidate answers them for no more than 5 minutes.
5. Lecture (or demonstration). Candidates will give a trial lecture (or demonstration) according to the prepared lesson plan (or activity demonstration plan) for no more than 10 minutes.
6. Defense. The examiner will ask questions about the content of the candidate's trial lecture (or demonstration) and the test items, and the candidate will answer the test, and the time will not exceed 5 minutes.
7. Scoring. The examiner will comprehensively score the candidate's interview performance according to the scoring criteria, and submit the score through the interview evaluation software system.
Note: 70% of the interview scores of the three subjects of mental health education, Japanese and Russian in the teacher qualifications of secondary vocational professional courses and secondary vocational internship guidance courses, as well as the qualifications of teachers of junior high school, high school and secondary vocational culture courses, will be included in the total interview score.

8. Inquiry of interview results
From 10:00 on June 14, 2024, candidates can log on to the Primary and Secondary School Teacher Qualification Examination Network (ntce.neea.edu.cn) to check the interview results.
There are three types of interview results: "pass", "fail", and "absent".
If candidates have any objection to the interview result, they can submit an application for review to Shanghai Teacher Education Institute within 10 working days from the announcement of the interview result. The review only checks the candidate's relevant information and score statistics, and does not review how the interview is scored and the evaluation process. The application must be sent to the [email protected] mailbox by email, indicating the candidate's name, ID number, admission ticket number, contact number, brief reason for inquiry and other information. Shanghai Institute of Teacher Education will reply to the review result within 5 working days, and the review result is final.
9. Handling of violations
Candidates who participate in the interview should abide by the "Code of Conduct for Interview Candidates" and take the test in good faith.
If candidates violate discipline or cheat, they will be dealt with in accordance with the "Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations" and other regulations. Those who cheat will be banned from participating in the teacher qualification examination for 3 years in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Teacher Qualification Regulations". If the circumstances are serious and the criminal law is violated, it will be reported to the public security department and dealt with in accordance with the law.
If candidates (including those across provinces and cities) obtain examination qualifications and test results through forging certificates, certificates, archives and other materials, once discovered, the city's teacher qualification accreditation agency will deal with them in accordance with relevant regulations.
10. Certificate of passing the examination and application for teacher qualification
(1) Certificate of passing the examination
After passing the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination, written examination and interview, if necessary, candidates can check and print the "web version" examination certificate through the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination network (ntce.neea.edu.cn), and the validity period is subject to the time indicated on the examination certificate.
Note: Candidates can enter the "ID number" and "name" information when checking the certificate, and the information of the "admission ticket number" can be omitted.
(2) Application for recognition of teacher qualifications
Candidates who have passed the primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination, passed the written examination and interview and are within the validity period can pay close attention to the relevant teacher qualification conditions and application process announcements in the Shanghai Education Talent Network (shehr.shec.edu.cn) from late March to early April and late August to early September each year (according to the work arrangement, the registration time for each teacher qualification application will be slightly fine-tuned), and eligible candidates can log in to the Shanghai Municipal People's Government within the specified time in the first and second half of each year" "All in one network" to apply for teacher qualifications.
