On April 2, the Youth Media Center of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Inner Mongolia Writers Association jointly held a visit and exchange activity for young writers on the 40th anniversary of the founding of the journal "This Generation" in the organs of the Youth League Committee of the Autonomous Region.
More than 50 young writers from the Inner Mongolia Writers Association walked into the organs of the Youth League Committee of the Autonomous Region, visited the editorial department of "This Generation" and the new media position of the Youth League Committee of the Autonomous Region, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the topic selection, layout design, manuscript collection and further improvement of the communication power, guidance, influence and credibility of the journal, and provided suggestions and suggestions for the high-quality development of the journal.
At the symposium, the editorial department of "This Generation" introduced the historical evolution, direction and revision plan of "This Generation" to the participating writers. Based on their own practical experience, six young writer representatives put forward feasible opinions and suggestions on the content, layout, manuscript invitation, and distribution of the journal.
The representative of the writer said that in the 40 years since the founding of the journal, the journal has adhered to the purpose of running the journal and has had an extremely far-reaching positive impact on generations of young people, and hopes that the "This Generation" can adhere to the fine tradition and make some attempts in layout design that are more in line with the taste and trend of young people, so that "This Generation" can enter the youth with a new look and go deep into the youth.
The writers' representative suggested that the journal "This Generation" should continue to retain and carry forward the characteristics of traditional columns such as "Poetry Starry Sky", and at the same time continue to widely solicit works by young writers, so that "This Generation" can highlight the positioning of young journals and create a good platform for young writers to create and communicate.
During the event, the editorial department of "This Generation" invited the participating writers to participate in a series of essay collection activities. The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Youth Media Center and the Inner Mongolia Writers Association have reached a strategic cooperation intention, and the two sides will establish long-term and in-depth cooperative relations in many aspects such as topic selection and planning, manuscript collection, and co-organization of activities, focusing on the responsibilities and missions of publication construction and literary creation, so as to achieve win-win development in integration and collaboration.
