During the visit, the teachers and students paid full attention and listened carefully. During the interaction, the teachers and students spoke enthusiastically, lively and lively, and burst into bursts of applause and happy laughter from time to time.

The hour hand has pointed to 12 o'clock at noon, and the students are still reluctant to give up, some are carefully tasting the works, some are learning to interpret the cards, some are asking for aesthetic knowledge around Mr. Yao, and some are asking Mr. Yao to interpret Xiao Seal's "Thousand Character Text". When Mr. Yao recited and interpreted the "Thousand Character Text," the teachers and students all showed appreciative smiles and surprised eyes, and could not help but applaud!

After returning home, the teachers and students were very excited and unforgettable about this unique exhibition, and wrote their thoughts and experiences one after another. The experience of teachers and students is as follows:

Yang Jingen said with deep feeling that she was fortunate to participate in Ms. Yao Meimei's calligraphy and painting exhibition to promote friendship and exchange between China and the Philippines, which allowed her to increase her knowledge and broaden her horizons. I usually write calligraphy at home, but I haven't learned how to do it for many years. Walking into the exhibition hall, the most eye-catching thing is the eight big characters "Sino-Philippine Friendship, Eternal Changchun". The pen is strong and powerful, and the pen is like flowing water, which makes me want to pick up the pen and practice for more than ten years.

This is followed by the introduction of Chinese paintings, flowers and birds, freehand, different types, and exquisite brushwork. I have had the experience of studying Chinese painting before, and I know that it is not easy to make a single stroke. The most impressive is "Flowers". Red, rouge, cinnabar, color matching harmony, pleasing to the eye, a delicate and prosperous scene.

Yang Jingen, Cai Qimin, Lin Weisong, Fu Yuying, Liang Jingjing, and Xu Wenlin believe that the "Thousand Character Text" spread out horizontally on the scroll is written in seal, and the whole text is neat and flawless. Later, on the way to watch, Mr. Yao introduced us to the "Thousand Character Text" with great interest, and when it arose, he memorized it on the spot, and we were all amazed!

This calligraphy and painting exchange exhibition is a rare learning opportunity for us, to be able to see famous paintings up close, listen to the explanations of famous teachers, and importantly, have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture. The integration of culture does not lie overnight, after the changes of the years, it will be presented in each work, condensed in every stroke of the author. As contemporary Filipino-Chinese youth, we have the obligation to take up this responsibility and serve as a guide for the inheritance of Chinese civilization.

Yan Shiyi said that when I visited the calligraphy and painting exhibition, I understood the artist's intention and felt her emotions through the beautiful works. There is a joy in her paintings, and one can feel that she is enjoying the process of painting. Her paintings convey a message to interpret the beauty of the world from her perspective. It is really admirable to be able to use her skillful hands to create such touching paintings and calligraphy.

Shi Yaqi said that I was fortunate to visit the exhibition of calligraphy and painting promoted by Yao Meimei to promote friendship between China and the Philippines. This is my first time visiting the Chinese Painting Exhibition, and I am both looking forward to it and excited when I set off.

When I walked into the exhibition hall of Mr. Shang, a faint scent of ink came to my nose. The exhibition hall was full of Chinese paintings, and it instantly hit my Tianling cover. A strong Chinese style enveloped me deeply, as if there was an inexplicable attraction, pulling me to slowly appreciate each painting and calligraphy. Or a vivid and realistic kingfisher, or a beautiful white lotus full of artistic conception, or a peony full of color and vigorous atmosphere.

Among them, "What a Beautiful Jasmine" instantly caught my eye. I saw two clean and elegant jasmine flowers painted on the painting, looking at each other from afar. The delicate brushstrokes portray the jasmine as if it is wafting with a faint floral fragrance, and the crisp leaves are full of vitality. Through Mr. Yao's explanation, I realized that jasmine is not only the national flower of the Philippines, but also the city flower of Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Jasmine is a symbol of fragrance, purity, and friendliness. Mr. Yao not only painted jasmine flowers, but also expressed his expectation for the friendship between China and the Philippines.

With each painting introduced to us by Ms. Yao Meimei, I have a better understanding of the charm of Chinese calligraphy and painting, and to convey meaning and lyricism through painting, which is the essence of Chinese calligraphy and painting, and also the charm of Chinese culture. Thanks to Ms. Yao Meimei for bringing this exhibition, which opened another window for me to understand Chinese culture!

Guo Rongkai said that as soon as I entered the hall, there were a lot of calligraphy and paintings that attracted me, but the ones that impressed me the most were "Thousand Character Text" and Jasmine. I learned a lot of knowledge, and Mr. Yao explained it very well and in detail, and it was all the key points. Every flower painted by Mr. Yao is full of vitality, bright colors, and smart postures. I love it.

Chen Mingyi said that I saw Mr. Yao's painting exhibition that day, which made me know more about Chinese painting. In particular, Mr. Yao's interpretation of the trumpet flower made me understand that the trumpet flower blooms at four o'clock in the morning, symbolizing diligence and making me feel the charm of Chinese cultural connotation.

Wang An'an said that I feel very honored to have the opportunity to visit this calligraphy and painting exchange exhibition. In this exchange exhibition, I appreciated the charm of calligraphy and painting, and the beauty of their different emotions. The flower language and the meaning of the flower all made me feel the unique beauty of Mr. Yao's Chinese paintings. I hope to have more opportunities to participate in this kind of exchange exhibition in the future.

Lin Biqi, director of the Office of Student Affairs, said that in the beginning, taking students to the exhibition was just a work responsibility for me. As soon as I stepped into the venue, I focused on every painting and calligraphy in front of me.

Fortunately, Ms. Yao Meimei generously explained each of her works to us. One by one, she walks us through the inscription and meaning of each painting. The way she spoke attracted me. Obviously, she loves her paintings very much, and it can be said that she paints with her life. I paid close attention to each of the works she introduced. I was amazed to find that after her explanation, it was as if my third eye had been opened. I can see the beautiful work through the eyes of a painter. Her detailed introduction gives more meaning to the works and makes them more engaging. I began to look at each work in more detail, and I didn't think about which one I would like, but I was fascinated by the jasmine flowers. It's so pure and noble that I can even smell it.

Visiting this exhibition reminded me of when I was a child, when I also signed up for a traditional painting and calligraphy class. At that time, I was purely attracted by the beautiful calligraphy and paintings. However, I gave up halfway because I felt like it was a chore and I didn't learn anything well. I don't paint anymore. It gave me a sense of frustration. But now that I think about it, with the guidance of a painter like Yao Meimei, I can understand art from another angle, and I can look at art through the eyes of an artist.

The students visited and studied carefully

Vice President Cai Yiyi said, I visited a lot of calligraphy and painting exhibitions, but this time I went to the general manager of business, and it was just an eye-opener for me. When I used to visit the gallery, I saw one by one, and I only felt that everything was beautiful. Although I always walk out of the exhibition area with joy, I am rarely impressed. This time, however, it was a very different feeling. It gave me a sense of real gain.

Stepping into the zone, I was immediately attracted by the eight words "China-Philippines Friendship, Eternal Changchun", which attracted me all at once. This exhibition is destined to be different from the previous visits. It has a very distinct theme that stands out in the context of the relationship between the Philippines and China. I thought to myself, this calligraphy and painting exhibition is very interesting, and visitors are not allowed to go and see the flowers. Sure enough, Teacher Yao Meimei took the initiative to come over, greeted us cordially, and started my journey of learning calligraphy and painting with the children. For each painting, Mr. Yao introduced us in great detail, and also interacted with the students, sang two sentences, recited a paragraph, and also raised some questions and knowledge about calligraphy and painting, so that everyone could answer according to their feelings. Seeing the students coming and going with Mr. Yao with great interest, I was glad to have taken a break from my busy work, and I also let myself be really immersed in the artistic atmosphere of calligraphy and painting, and enjoy the beautiful feeling and artistic interest in front of me.

Ms. Yao explained the background and meaning of each painting to the students, and asked the children to think about the feelings of looking at the paintings. And I was watching the works that touched my heart. Although I am not familiar with the language of flowers, I can clearly feel the emotions in every stroke of the work. Many of the works are full of artistic charm and are hard to put down. Especially the lotus flower that comes out of the mud and is not stained, and its noble temperament is convincing. I stopped for a while, and finally decided to take a photo with him, leaving the emotion in my phone and bringing happiness into my heart.

However, it is not so much the feeling of happiness that the whole exhibition gives people, but the artist's love for art that is more moving. There is a long table in the exhibition area, and I haven't noticed the treasure on it until I look at it in detail. It was a volume of "Thousand Character Text" calligraphy, which was written by teacher Yao Meimei word by word in half a year. The neat seal script is simply a shock in the eyes. Without superb calligraphy attainments and selfless artistic feelings, it is impossible to write such a chic work. Just like spreading Chinese culture overseas, every act of heart is a touching harvest.

It was a good chance to visit Yao Meimei's calligraphy and painting exhibition, and I will treasure it in my heart.

Ms. Yao Meimei gave a lecture on "Thousand Character Text" for teachers and students

Some teachers and students said that the allusions and philosophies quoted in Mr. Yao's calligraphy and painting impressed us deeply. For example, in "The Prophet of the Fish and the Bird under the Lotus", the smart kingfisher in the picture, when he sees the lotus flower shaking, he immediately perceives that the fish is passing through and wants to take action. It contains the philosophy of "the wise man sees the unbudding". There is also "The Lotus Wind Sends Cool Fish", Mr. Yao interpreted, "Virtue is not lonely, there must be neighbors". The fragrance of lotus flowers is far clear, the pavilion is pure and planted, and there is a gentleman's demeanor, which will naturally attract some like-minded friends. This kind of skillful use of classics, drawing inferences from one another, and in-depth artistic wisdom in simple terms has refreshed us and benefited us a lot.

Chen You, vice chairman of the National Public Security Artists Association, Cai Shiyang, chairman of the second branch of the Philippine China Hongmen Zhi Gong Party, and Hong Lianhe attended the event.
