Grain production is the foundation of agricultural development and the foundation of people's livelihood. In recent years, Fatang Village, Shijia Town, has used idle land to grow wheat, rape, corn and other food crops to develop the village collective economy, so that the land is not idle, grain production can be increased, farmers can increase income, and ensure that the people "have grain in their hands and do not panic in their hearts".
At present, it is a critical period of wheat field management, and in Fatang Village, Wei Yunjun, secretary of the village party branch, is checking the growth of wheat with agricultural technicians, and prescribing the right medicine for the situation of pests and diseases that are prone to occur.
Since last year, Fatang Village has gone deep into the fields to find out the use of land, carried out comprehensive renovation of idle land, increased the area of fertile land by more than 400 acres, and increased the collective economic income of the village by planting various food crops, and effectively guarded the "rice bowl field" of the people. Up to now, 80 acres of mustard, 150 acres of rape and 150 acres of wheat have been planted.
According to reports, the collective economic income of Fatang Village exceeded 500,000 yuan last year, and this year it will further revitalize more idle land and expand the grain planting area. In the next corn planting, Fatang Village will adopt the model of "village collective + cooperative + farmer" to develop moderately large-scale planting, reduce planting costs, increase the average output per mu with the "five ones" management method, drive more people to plant, and help village collectives and people increase their income together.
Rejuvenate the countryside. In addition to revitalizing idle land, Fatang Village is also preparing to awaken more sleeping resources, improve the comprehensive utilization rate of idle resources, increase the collective economic income of the village, promote the increase of people's income, and help rural revitalization.
