Why is it that India cannot replace China? This can be seen in terms of power generation alone.
In 2023, China's total electricity generation reached a staggering 8,909.09 billion kWh, while India's power generation was only 1,308.1 billion kWh, only about 14% of China's.
As we all know, electricity is the foundation of industry, and the larger the power generation, the more developed the industrial manufacturing industry will be.
And looking at the world, China is now the first in the world in terms of power generation, except for nuclear power.
What's more, the level of infrastructure in India is really not complimentary, and many places are seriously lacking in electricity, as can be seen from the messy wires on the streets of India.
Therefore, even if some foreign companies move their manufacturing from China to India, it still cannot change the fact that China is the world's factory.
