This activity combines the results of the online questionnaire released in the early stage and the on-site solicitation of opinions, focusing on roasted foods and nut products with high public concern, as well as popular business places such as roasted nuts stores and supermarkets.
At the Huanxi peanuts in the New Century Mediterranean Commercial Plaza, Mr. Li, a consumer, suggested that the peanuts and pistachios be sampled. Mr. Li said that peanuts and pistachios are his family's "favorites" during the New Year's holidays, and he hopes to understand the food safety level of roasted nuts around him through this "you click and I check", so that he can eat more assured.
At the scene, under the joint supervision of consumers, operators and law enforcement personnel, the staff of the District Food and Drug Inspection Institute carried out sample purchase, information registration, sealing and packing of the above-mentioned food in accordance with the prescribed procedures. The results of the test will be announced on the government website in the future.
Next, the District Market Supervision Bureau will continue to carry out the "you point and I check" activity, listen to the opinions of consumers more widely by entering communities, campuses, shopping malls and other places, publish the test results in a timely manner, and actively promote the social co-governance of food safety, so that every consumer can buy and eat with confidence.
