As the first mass-produced flying car, Xpeng Huitian's "Land Aircraft Carrier" split flying car is composed of two parts: a land body and a flying body, which can be completely stored in the vehicle for ground movement, and can be automatically separated and combined like a "transformer".
The Luxing body adopts a range-extended electric drive system, using 6×6 all-wheel drive, with rear-wheel steering function, and can continuously replenish the energy of the aircraft. In addition, there is an intelligent cockpit that can seat 4-5 people. The aircraft can carry 2 passengers, has a 270-degree panoramic cockpit, adopts pure electric drive, provides two driving modes, manual and Zidonglu, and supports vertical take-off and landing. At the same time, the flying body adopts distributed electric propulsion, which can meet the safety requirements of single-point failure.
The air-ground integrated flying car, unveiled at CES 2024, is expected to reach mass production after the "land carrier". The car in land mode, the arm, rotor and other flight systems can be completely folded and stored into the car body; through the folding and deformation system, the arm can be opened to switch to the flight mode, in the environment where conditions permit, vertical take-off and landing, flying over congestion, obstacles, rivers, etc., to meet the needs of people for short-distance low-altitude travel. In addition, the air-ground integrated flying car also adopts a foldable steering wheel, a transparent instrument panel, a transparent chassis in the cockpit and other configurations, and the intelligent cockpit can freely switch between land mode and flight mode.
