#WinterLifeSeason #BangkokArtist's House (Baan Silapin) is housed in a 200-year-old complex along the Chao Phraya River, bringing together the creations and whimsy of local and community artists (Thai Baan = home, Silapin = art).
It's more of a hippie neighborhood where visitors can wander around like a local, admire masterpieces of art, sit on the water's edge and relax, and buy some art to support their creations.
Baan Silapin in Bangkok is a local platform that connects locals, tourists and artists. If you're in time, you'll also find traditional Thai face mask dances and puppet shows.
There are also local restaurants and cafes on the waterfront of the big house, and you'll find some delicious snacks. It is advisable to stop and spend some time mingling with the shopkeepers and locals to get a better understanding of the culture of the area.
