According to the website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security on December 26, the State Council appointed and dismissed state functionaries, appointed Liu Sushe as vice chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, appointed Lu Lei as vice governor of the People's Bank of China, appointed Wu Haiping as deputy director of the General Administration of Customs, appointed Meng Yang as deputy director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, appointed Fu Wanjun as deputy director of the State Administration of Financial Supervision and Administration, and appointed Li Luming as president of Tsinghua University (vice minister level).

Liu Sushe, male, Han nationality, born in October 1967, from Yangling, Shaanxi, joined the work in August 1989, joined the Communist Party of China in April 1986, graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, majoring in agricultural economics and management, with an on-the-job postgraduate degree and a doctorate in management.
