Mr. Wang, a citizen, asked for help from "Xinmin Help", after he and a few friends took a fancy to the special international air tickets on the Xianyu App, and then the buyers and sellers added WeChat to each other, some paid from the Xianyu platform, and some directly transferred Alipay. Who knows, because several of them returned to China early, the original return ticket was not used, and they were "refunded" afterwards. Consumers demanded a reasonable explanation and a timely refund, but the ticket purchaser of the Xianyu platform turned a deaf ear, and since the end of November, there has been no apology or active response. The reporter's investigation found that Xianyu special ticket sellers have "a lot of tricks" and "too deep routines", and many purchasing methods are often in the gray area, and consumers must keep their eyes open.

The ticket was refunded

The ticket was not refunded

Mr. Wang told the helper that in September this year, he found a ticket purchaser on the Xianyu App, who was nicknamed "Su**" and had the WeChat name H. On the homepage of "Su **", a number of domestic and foreign special ticket products were released, known as "cheap explosion". The Xianyu seller told the consulting buyer that his special ticket was mainly obtained by "point exchange".

In addition to Mr. Wang himself, there were four people, including Mr. and Mrs. Zhang and Ms. Gong, all of whom had booked round-trip international air tickets through H. The 5 people went on the same flight, from Shanghai to Paris (Xiamen transit), operated by Xiamen Airlines, and arrived at the destination smoothly.

On the way back, something happened. Mr. and Mrs. Zhang were originally scheduled to return to China on November 15 on an Eastern Airlines flight, but due to urgent matters, they returned to Shanghai on November 9. For the November 9 ticket, the couple booked the ticket from the official website of China Eastern Airlines. Another Ms. Gong originally ordered a multi-segment return ticket at H, the first leg was from Milan to Shanghai, operated by Air China, and the return date was November 9. Since she did not catch the flight that day, Ms. Gong bought a ticket from another airline to return to China. The remaining 2 people returned on the original flight.

Regarding the payment method, Mr. and Mrs. Zhang traded on the Xianyu App and paid a total of 16,400 yuan for the return ticket. Xianyu's order shows that the seller is "Su**". Ms. Gong used Alipay to pay a total of 16,700 yuan, of which the return ticket price was 5,800 yuan. It is understood that after WeChat communication, the purchasing agent H sent a company account named Shanghai Tutu Ticketing Agency Co., Ltd., and Ms. Gong's 16,700 yuan was transferred to the company's Alipay account.

Mr. Wang said that after Mr. Zhang and his wife returned to China early and returned to China in advance, they contacted China Eastern Airlines and requested to keep their tickets for one year so that they could change their tickets in a timely manner. But what I didn't expect was that China Eastern Airlines replied that their two tickets had been "refunded", and the refund had been given to the booker.

Not long after Ms. Gong returned to China, she received a call from Air China, and learned that the airline would refund the last part of the flight she had missed due to a temporary cancellation. The Air China customer service staff said that it was a full refund. However, H never informed Ms. Gong about the refund.

"When we questioned H on WeChat, he didn't respond positively, and then he didn't reply directly. We don't have his mobile phone number either, only WeChat. "I couldn't find H, and I didn't have the contact information of Shanghai Tutu Ticketing Agency Co., Ltd., Mr. and Mrs. Zhang and Ms. Gong were at a loss.

Return flight

Booking a ticket is a mystery

With the authorization of the complainant, the Xinmin Evening News reporter called China Eastern Airlines and Air China respectively for verification. According to the customer service staff of China Eastern Airlines, the two return tickets of Mr. and Mrs. Zhang from Rome to Shanghai were successfully refunded on November 25, and the refund was returned to the booking party. The specific person who returned it to cannot be queried in the system.

Air China's customer service staff informed that Ms. Gong had originally ordered a multi-segment ticket, which took off on November 9, a total of three flights from Milan to Shanghai to Beijing to Manila, and the ticket has been refunded. As for information such as "who booked the ticket" and "how much the ticket will be refunded", he can't grasp it on his side.

The reporter dialed the phone number of the relevant person in charge of Shanghai Tutu Ticketing Agency Co., Ltd. The other party claimed that "Tutu Ticketing" had only booked the tickets of the above five people from Shanghai to Paris, and did not handle the return tickets of any of them. The tickets for the five people from Shanghai to Paris were ordered by the middleman H, who contacted "Tutu Ticketing" for the first time in September this year, and the booking was all done through WeChat, and the company did not know H's name and mobile phone number. "Tutu Ticketing" has not opened an account on the Xianyu App, and H is not an employee of their company.

According to the records provided by Ms. Gong, she paid a total of 16,700 yuan to the account of the "Tutu Ticketing" company. At the beginning, H agreed with her that 16,700 yuan included a round-trip round-trip, and the return flight of Air China did "book a ticket". However, "Tutu Ticketing" has always denied that it had booked a return ticket for Ms. Gong, and has repeatedly emphasized that 16,700 yuan is only the cost of the outbound journey, and the return refund has nothing to do with them.

Journalists intervene

Negotiations are already underway

The reporter contacted H, the ticket purchaser. He bluntly said that the two return tickets of Mr. and Mrs. Zhang were obtained by spending money to purchase other people's airline points, and the point card holder refunded the tickets because he learned that the passengers had returned to China in advance. In this regard, H proposed to prepare "make up 2 tickets" as a solution.

Regarding Ms. Gong's purchasing channel for return tickets, H replied that it was Shangqiu Yidao Network Technology Co., Ltd., but the ticket agent replied that "it can only refund more than 2,000 yuan, not a full refund". H admitted that the 16,700 yuan paid by Ms. Gong included a round-trip trip, and the "Su**" account on the Xianyu App was his.

Faced with such a statement, the complainant repeatedly questioned:

H knew that Mr. and Mrs. Zhang's two return tickets had been refunded, but why did they always conceal it? Ms. Gong's flight was cancelled, and the ticket agency had received the refund, and H did not have any explanation? Ms. Gong paid 16,700 yuan for the ticket, and the ticket service said that she had only booked the outbound trip, so could it be that the return ticket was given by H for free?

Before the deadline, a reporter from Xinmin Evening News learned from the complainant that the two tickets of Mr. and Mrs. Zhang were indeed obtained from "points exchange", and that Ms. Gong's Air China ticket was finally booked by a B2B (Business to Business) ticketing agency platform, which said that it had returned the refund to H with a refund amount of more than 2,000 yuan.

With the intervention of "Xinmin Help", the complainant and the purchasing agent H have begun to negotiate a solution.

Whether the parties concerned will be able to get back their air ticket money, whether the rights and interests of consumers will be safeguarded, and whether "Xinmin will help Nong" will continue to pay attention.
